Industry participants have included Google, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Microsoft, Verizon Media, Pinterest, LinkedIn and the Wikimedia Foundation. The topics discussed include, but are not limited to: information sharing around elections risk, briefs from industry, threat updates, and highlights and upcoming watch outs."​

Communications across 11 federal agencies reveal that the federal government, under the Biden administration, "has exerted tremendous pressure on social-media companies—pressure to which companies have repeatedly bowed," the New Civil Liberties Alliance details in a new release. The social media companies that were part of this Partner Support Portal include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.​

The CDC invited "all tech platforms" in to their meeting to discuss how to suppress free speech about Covid online.​

Those agencies involved include the White House, HHS, DHS, CISA, the CDC, NIAID, the Office of the Surgeon General, the Census Bureau, the FDA, the FBI, the State Department, the Treasury Department, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission. As usual this is a nothing burger. The government can meet with social media companies to urge them to be responsible in what they allow on their site. There are no violations of free speech rights. I would hardly rely on Republicans to tell the truth.

If you want to talk about violations of free speech rights, that is what Republicans do. Nazi governors in Florida and Texas have tried to suppress free speech rights by retaliating against companies who express differing views. Republicans in Congress have threatened to retaliate against such entities.

The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has been hosting meetings with internet platforms and allowing those platforms to flag for deletion any material to which they object. This until now secret program resulted in the federal bureaucracy meddling in the 2020 elections.

The FBI has no role in combatting “disinformation” and “misinformation.” It has no legal right to request a corporation (and by “request,” I mean “direct”) to take down legal material that upsets Washington bureaucrats and the people they send out to kill you.
This should be a warning to any Republican elected to the presidency in 2024 that the bureaucracy is their enemy and is trying to destroy them. Their first mission must be putting a halt to this garbage and firing anyone who participated, even tangentially, in the effort. I say 2024 because by 2028 if this mess is unchecked, it will be how we are ruled.
