Best place in Vegas?

Bellagio is good. We get comped there once a year, then move to the other one we're regulars at. Caesar's is good for gamblers as well.. Look up current payouts for those. Families and kids will like others a lot more, like Mandalay Bay. High rollers like the Aria and Palms, but you will never see those guys. Others like the Wynn, but the Bellagio's upper limit of $20k is fine with me. The advertised limits don't apply to games like poker where the players are invitation only and the House just deals and provides services.

Never been to the Trump one. Been to many of the others, some now gone, and we settled on the Bellagio and Ceasar's for the last 20 years or so. They give us the best comps. Free rooms for a week and $10K in chips to start with, free dinners.

Bally's steakhouse is pretty good; they age their meat like a month or so. The Aria has a decent in house restaurant. Circus Circus isn't bad either for steaks.

Years ago, my wife and I did a high-end weekend in Vegas. We did the first class from San Diego (only an hour flight, but still), stretch limo, club admissions, shows, the whole nine yards.

When we got picked up at the airport, we met our drive. I hadn't yet I commented to the driver that it looked like they've done a lot of work. The driver replied "Yea, they've built a lot of new hotels, but Bellagio is still the best."

And where did we stay?

Bellagio...

i was considering the bellagio

trump hotel is 87 bucks a night?
The Bellagio is very expensive. Two drinks at the bar cost me $47. But it is very nice. We stayed there for two nights on our way to the Grand Canyon. On the way back, we stayed at New York, New York. More our style and somewhat cheaper.

This might be hard to believe, but the Trump hotel is not in the center of the strip.

Ceasar's Palace usually has the best shows in our slots. There a lot of great shows in town at any time, no one joint dominates in that regard on the Strip. We like the female vocalists, so Ceasar's gets most of our business re shows. Even if you're staying at other casinos some will comp you shows at competitors if you're regulars and ask. We haven't paid for a show in two decades. We got to see Darcy Lynn once, which was outstanding.

If all you go for is gambling, the Bahamas and European casinos are better for that.

I’ve been to Vegas twice. I stayed at The Palms and MGM. Every big hotel on or near the strip is awesome

Yeah, I liked Ceasars Palace when I was there. Loved the employees all dressed up in Roman garb. Do they still do that?
I played Keno there. I had fun.
