ONLY because the Mandate was called the Mandate for Palestine, and the Jews chose not to use the Humiliating word the Romans planted on their ancient homeland which was meant for the Jews to forget their homeland.

ONLY because the British called the Mandate to reconstruct Israel, the Jewish homeland as Palestine, and not Israel as it should have been.....as it was with Iraq, Lebanon and the Syrian Mandates.

Palestinian stamps were printed by Thomas De LA Rue company in London. the territory at the time was a British Mandate, and the name only referred to a land designation, not a people.
