Bank of Canada admits the war of fossil fuels is ramping up inflation?

Although somewhat buried in its Jan. 26 report entitled "The 2021-22 Surge in Inflation," the Bank of Canada, the country's central bank, admitted that the "ongoing transition from fossil fuels to green energy ... requires an immense reallocation of investments, which raises costs due to higher demand for new investments and lack of investment supply into fossil fuel production."

"These cost pressures are exacerbated by the long time required to build green energy infrastructure, further boosting prices for fossil fuels," continues the report. "This shift to relatively higher energy prices will also contribute to challenges for monetary policy to keep inflation on target over the long term."

When did the central bank of Canada become white supremacist right wingers?

Also, should they be cancelled now and should Trudy suspend the bank accounts of the central bank like he did Canadian truckers who dared to protest against him?

The title of your thread is entirely misleading A$$hat. This is where the government is honest with the Canadian people and tells them the truth, instead of trying to spin things for political gain. This is something that no American understands.

Did YOU think that fighting climate change wouldn't cost money, or raise prices during the transition??? Do you also believe in the Tooth Fairy, and Republican monetary policies????

From the Bank of Canada Website:

At the Bank, we’re taking steps to better understand the impacts of climate change on the economy and to reduce our environmental footprint.

Climate change and the transition to low-carbon growth will have profound impacts on almost every sector of the economy in the decades ahead. The need to understand these effects and their implications for the economy and financial system places climate change analysis within the Bank’s mandate.

This is what sound governance looks like. Telling people the truth and expecting them to understand what you're doing and why.

First of all glowarm is just a scam. The earth has been going through these geological cycles for eons. Second, there aren't enough rare earth metals to be extracted for batteries and solar powered cars. Third, it is extremely toxic and deadly to the environment, forests, rivers, grasslands, ecology, soils, and water to mine for rare earth metals. Its on the order of exponentially more damaging than drilling for natural gas, hydrocarbons, etc. There's not even a comparison as to how dangerous, toxic, and deadly mining are for rare earth minerals on a massive scale. Its insanity. So, no thanks. Not participating in these deadly escapades.

Can ya say stupid mandates...knew ya could. Can ya say ...not following the science...cause ya aren't. Know how many square miles of solar panels ya need to replace one power plant....didn't think so

Of course it's ramping up inflation, it would have to.
In fact, the Dimocrats are the party of regulation. Everything they get involved with, prices increase.

Just look at the most expensive states to live in, they are always blue states (except Alaska).
