Slavery has modernized along with the diversity of profitable uses of human servitude. Historically, slavery was primarily a source of slave labor related to crops, construction, household servantry, animal keeping and the like in return for food, meager lodgings and sometimes clothing. As the world becomes more crowded and cultures intertwine by way of legal and illegal immigration, the opportunities to enslave others for personal gain increase numerically and characteristically. The UK today may have more than 100,000 modern day slaves with various roles to play in the industry.

There was a high profile investigation into the prostitution slavery of white girls by black men in the US.
I think it was Indiana.

Apparently it's not just the UK
It is estimated that over 100,000 white females are trapped in prostitution rings right here in the USA today.
They are held against their will, drugged and threatened that if they escape or don't do as told, their
families will be attacked and killed including children of which they have pictures and addresses.

Not sure how much of this is the result of the advance of Leftist liberalism, but defunding the Police will just make this much worse.

So the Brits are enslaving the Irish again? Wow, didn't think they would try that again

The article did not claim such. It was likely written by a British author. Slavery exists worldwide, with exception possibly small island nations. China is really into it, as is Mexico, the USA, Russia...you name it.

I posted the title just as it appears in the article. I try to refrain from altering published works.

Brits are among the slaves. The slavers may not even be British. The article points to SLAVERY in the UK and around the world. It does not single out the British as SLAVE OWNERS.

There's no need for Brits to get bent out of shape regarding the article. They should consider themselves enlightened by it.

/——/ Waiting for Brit Tommy Taint to weigh in. He’s always posting about real and imagined outrages in the USA.

Why are the Brits so weak that they can't stop slavery in their own country??

Or are you trying to equate illegal sex and human trafficking to something that was state sanctioned and practiced for hundreds of years??

It's not just the Brits and its more a futile effort than a weakness. We have laws against slavery but criminals do not obey laws. That is a worldwide fact of life.

I'm not trying to equate any one thing to any other thing. I'm just presenting an article and my comments regarding it.

Ha ha ha - talk about the 'pot calling the kettle!'
Founding father George Washington had three hundred slaves. When it became law in Pennsylvania that slaves could only be kept for 6 months before being freed, he waited till the last day before shipping them to Virginia. OK he was a Brit albeit a traitorous one, but Britain banned slavery in the 1830's. The US banned slavery 33 years later but on paper only. One striking difference Brits noticed and was much criticized by the locals during WWll was the way blacks were segregated, looked down on, and treated as third class citizens by their white Yankee countrymen.
It all came to ahead in the 1960's when you still treated 'blacks' as third class citizens with segregation and denial of opportunities even to educate.
And even today you have an unrepresentative government, majority white middle aged male formulating law. Why exactly are BLM having to burn the country down to finally get their 'enslavement' addressed.
I've come across the odd 'white supremacist' on British website's - three to date that I remember over about ten years. That though is peanuts compared to the numbers I've encountered on this USMB site in a couple of months. It seems the KKK are alive and well and crawling out of the woodwork on these boards.
"Their not slaves!" I can hear you say!
No, technically they are not, but as far a equal civil rights go, you 'whities' make sure they are denied and treated as little more!

As for 100,000 slaves in Britain, if the authorities know that, then its about time they got off their fat asses, freed them and arrested the culprits responsible.

Hundreds if not thousands of slave ships flew the British flag coming to America.

Own your own goddamn history

There were mostly Irish slaves in the US and the first black slave was owned by a black person- and most black people own slaves -- so that totally excuses whatever you think Washington did.....

However in UK -- you colluded with the Africans and yall forced your slavery on this country..
