AS trump leaves he leaves the Army is in a much better place. We were well on our way under Obama to EU decrepitude across the board.
The U.S. Army Is In Great Shape. Let’s Not Screw It Up. (forbes.com)
On February 7, 2017, the Army’s Vice Chief of Staff warned the House Armed Services Committee that only a third of brigade combat teams were at an acceptable state of readiness. He described his service as “outranged, outgunned and outdated”—rapidly falling behind potential adversaries in its ability to wage war.
Bottom line: for the first time in a generation, the U.S. Army is in great shape. It doesn’t have everything it needs to fight and win future wars, but it is making steady progress.

And it all happened in a day. That has to be some kind of legitimate miracle...

Good article in Forbes, and sounds good but does not tell the whole story. Looks like the Abrams program upgrades was in the works and being planned and budgeted before 2015, under Obama.

Actually he was elected in 2016 and the budget for 2017 was already there. In FY2018 Federal Budget, "The bill covered FY 2018 and FY 2019. Republicans increased defense spending by $83 billion a year." Compare Congress' Enacted Budget to Trump's Requests

President Trump signed budget legislation which suspends the debt ceiling for two years Friday afternoon. The Senate passed the deal, cut between the White House and Democratic congressional leaders, on Thursday. The budget will raise spending by $324 billion and would also suspend the debt ceiling until July 2021, eliminating the prospect of an ugly battle before the 2020 election.
The bill passed the Senate on a bipartisan basis with 67 yeas to 28 nays.

Not bad, with elimination of the debt ceiling until July of the first year of President Biden's administration. Let the next administration worry with that pesky debt ceiling.

And moving at a snail pace with the factory in danger of being closed. Entire Army was almost totally worn out.

Did not look like it looking at the numbers I read and posted. Have it your way if it make you happy.

Actually many of my buddies that are still in the military are not very happy about more wars and detest Biden. Not to mention what they did to them in DC. My buddies that are still contracting though are happy, because many new jobs will be opening up overseas because the Military Industrial Complex is back rolling again with Biden in office.

You mean dealing death and destruction is a growth business, foreign and domestic if you know what you're doing? :auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

Wars are big business. Not so good for the American Citizens anymore though because we hardly make anything. Their are however still a few companies here that make tanks and all that. But nothing to make the economy boom like when everything was made here. It does line the pockets of the big corporations though that have their companies overseas.

I have always found it odd that Obama hates white people when his mom was white. She must have really pissed him off as a kid.

I do recall reading that his mom was a CIA agent. There is more links to this, but here is one:

President Obama – as well as his mother, father, step-father and grandmother – all were connected to the Central Intelligence Agency – possibly explaining why the President praises the “Agency” and declines to prosecute its officials for their crimes.

According to a published report in the September Rock Creek Free Press of Washington, D.C., investigative reporter Wayne Madsen says Obama’s mother Ann Dunham worked “on behalf of a number of CIA front operations, including the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Ford Foundation.” The East-West Center had long been affiliated with CIA activities in the Asia-Pacific region, Madsen says.

What’s more, Obama’s father, Barack Obama Sr., arrived in Hawaii from Kenya as part of a CIA program to identify and train Africans who would be useful to the Agency in its Cold War operations against the Soviets, Madsen says. Obama Sr. divorced Ms. Dunham in 1964.

I think a good study on Obama would help us realize a little bit to what is going on now.
