Rittenhouse had no business leaving the safe confines of his mother's home in Illinois and inserting himself into a violent riot. He was just as much a part of that riot as anyone.

An armed Black Lives Matter protester who survived the triple shooting that killed two in Kenosha, Wis., is suing the police — accusing them of “deputizing” teen gunman Kyle Rittenhouse and “a band of white nationalist vigilantes.”​

Gaige Grosskreutz — who said his bicep was almost blasted off — filed a federal lawsuit Friday against Kenosha’s police department, its chief, the sheriff’s office and the city itself, among others.​

“It was not a mistake that Kyle Rittenhouse would kill two people and maim a third on that evening,” the documents claim, naming Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, the BLM protesters who died.​

​

“It was a natural consequence of the actions of the Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha Sherriff’s office in deputizing a roving militia to ‘protect property’ and ‘assist in maintaining order,'” it said.​

Yup, had the police actually deputized people to help maintain order, the shooting of a violent scumbag rioter WOULD be the natural consequence, and Grosskreutz vastly overestimates himself if he thinks that's a bad thing.

I might even go so far as to say that if shitbirds like him go wilding on city streets, getting shot is - and should be - the natural consequence.

And they really do need to earn the right to be taken seriously and listened to by explaining why the border of Wisconsin is some impenetrable barrier in their minds, but the southern border of the United States doesn't even exist. Kyle was not attacked by the demonstrators until he illegally and dangerously started shooting.
At that point, he should have been killed to prevent him from harming others.
