Arm the Kurds. Now!

Obama! It's time to bypass the community organizing stuff, and start being the President of the United States. The Kurds are controlling a pretty impressive, large area of land in north Iraq and north Syria.

They are tough, battle-hardened veterans and have been winning battles against ISIS. If anybody deserves the support of the United States, it is the Kurds. But they are fighting with old, obsolete inferior weapons, most of which is just small arms, against ISIS, who is well-arm with top-notch weapons, much of which is American-supplied, which they stole from the Iraqi troops.

This situation calls for immediate action. Not sitting around, contemplating, making tough-sounding speeches which do nothing, holding summit meetings, and going golfing.

If the Kurds were armed with good up-to-date weapons, and more firepower, they could accomplish a lot more in this war, stop Christians et al from being kidnapped, and save a lot of innocent lives.

the Kurds are not a solution to ISIS, they don't really have the power or ability to operate strongly outside of their historic regions of control and their periphery. The Kurds are largely in the fight because ISIS attacked THEM.

but regarding Kurds being muslim . Looks like the KURDS are 'good' muslims as opposed to being nasty muslims like 'isis' osimir . Kurds can be pretty socially conservative in other areas though. For example, they have the highest rate of female gentile mutilation in Iraq. Kurds also have a plethora of political and even religious groupings. Most are Sunni Islam, but they aren't limited to that. The Turks are incredibly diverse too so it seems odd to attempt to classify them as a singular unit in the way you are doing.
