Anyone watch the live presser Biden just gave?

How? You realize that means taking away health insurance from millions of people. Why is that better?

Why don't you stop lying, Obamacare took health insurance away from 33 million families and forced them onto Obamacare, a plan so horrible it's like not even having insurance. The yearly deductibles and plan costs are insane. The only people who made out on Obamacare are the Dem's moochers who don't have to pay squat for it. It was a giant government hand out to purchase Dems votes, period.
By “take away” do you mean 33 million people lost their insurance and were then uninsured or do you mean 33 million had to change their plans to ones that were compliant with the new law? Please be direct and specific with your reply.

I'm not going to re-argue Obamacare with a talking points bot. :eusa_hand:
Ok then. Thanks for playing. That was easy

A few take aways I got

1. He actually was able to get through a pretty lengthy statement without bumbling it.

2. He seems to want to focus this entire election around the ACA.

3. He only took 2 or 3 questions and refused to answer one of them (no comment was his response)

3. When reporters asked questions he redirected them back to the ACA as if it was the only thing that people care about.

4. It appeared that he was not prepared to answer ANYTHING that wasn't on his teleprompter.

Thoughts?

He played it smart. He should focus on the ACA and not fall for the political traps that are being set

Asking simple questions are traps in your world?

Wow. Just wow.

Questions are just fine. But the way questions are answered can determine the focus of news cycles which effects the state of the campaign so a smart candidate can see this and choose their words wisely. Neither Trump nor Biden is strong in this area as they both screw up all the time. But in this case Biden did just fine

Hiden biden won't answer simple questions....because he CAN'T. Ponder that for a bit.

Nothing to ponder. I don’t give a lot of weight to empty partisan claims. I’ve seen Biden for years, you’re full of shit

Yeah, he's always been a gaffe machine. Now he's a turbo charged gaffe machine. And accelerating.

He has a stutter dumb ass look it up

Losing his line on a teleprompter, forgetting what he's talking about and saying he's been in the Senate for 180 years has nothing to do with a stutter no matter how much you try to convince yourself. Those examples are just this week.

A stutter means the brain moves faster than the mouth can push out the words so they either get stuck or they jumble what they are saying. All who call it dementia are pretty damn pathetic.

His handlers realized he could not remember a broad range of the answers they prepared for him, so instructed him to limit them to just this one subject.
Haha you’re such and idiot... who exactly are his handlers?
It appears to be Larry Moe & Curley
No real names? How about Trumps handlers do you who they are?

ILMAO at "Trump handlers". Perhaps you should watch/listen to Trump speak for a change. Who knows, you may even correct your brain over the experience.
Excellent. So now you understand how y’all sound when you try and pretend that Biden has handlers controlling everything he does. Remember that reaction you just had next time you hop on that narrative

What the fuck about your vision and ears confuses you most? Biden has dementia, you call it normal.
We playing this game now?? Ok Biden has dementia... did you know that Trump also has dementia but it is a much more radical and dangerous version? For your safety you really should vote for the one with the more stable case, Biden.

Interesting talking on your level, I feel like I’m back in grade school. Is this the type of conversation you enjoy engaging in? You feel it’s productive?

You feel lying to yourself is productive.
No I don’t... which is why I don’t lie to myself or to anybody else

Sock puppet Biden is like most left. They don’t understand simple math. It would require federal taxes to double. Not just high income but everyone that pays now. In fact we probably still could not afford both welfare and single payer as corporations and well to do we be moving money into tax shelters or other countries. So we would have to have a lot lower quality healthcare then we are accustomed to now. And we would have to cut into a lot of social services. They don’t tend to take into account that those in high tax states can hardly afford to double their tax burden.
Some like to point out that other countries have single payer but they don’t tend to point to the taxes they pay nor the fact some of those same countries are moving to individual health insurance.

You always hear that the Republicans have not offered up any healthcare plans. They tend to conveniently forget the number of healthcare plans that the Republicans have put forward over the years. They also conveniently forget that ACA used Romneycare as its blueprint. Funny how the left doesn’t even want to give credit where it is due

Well then by all means, list them. Just the plans put forth by the Republican party since 2010.
Here is one of the only ones I could find. Your turn.
Oh now you want to put a year on it. So why don’t we talk about the bad ideas of The dems that were shot down that would have fixed ACA since 2018. Oh there are none.
I notice that you couldn’t even bring yourself to admit that ACA was a Republican plan.

And boom goes the dynamite. LOL.

Again. Where are the Republican alternatives. Oh, yeah, that's right..there are none.

Any Republican alternative would be shot down and attacked by liberals, as long as they have the backstop of their beloved O'care Atrocity.

Why should they open up to attacks when all the libs are doing is obstructing?

The Republicans don't have enough votes to get something through on a partisan basis, even if they thought that was a good idea.

Again, the point here is, they didn't even try. How can you shoot something down that doesn't exist?
Republicans could have made a lot of hay starting in 2010 by offering concrete plans/modifications of their own.
But they didn't. Talk about just partisan obstructing.

Wrong.

We need less government in healthcare, not more

"Trying" to pass something is pointless if you don't have a plan to actually accomplish it.

The GOP would need Democrat votes, and the D's vote as a solid , impregnable bloc.

Point?

Tuesday night is going to be the end of him.

If he can't answer a mere few softball questions from hand-picked sycophants on one subject, the probability of him holding up for two hours in an extemporaneous forum is negligible.

wishful thinking.

Biden does just fine in debates...

Trump, on the other hand, has a record to defend.

The reality, the first debate is almost always a win for the challenger, because he's put on an equal footing as the incumbant as an alternative.
Biden has nothing to defend.
He's done nothing for 30+ years.
I think he should mass mail condoms.

Of course given a quick stroll down memory lane, a few of Senile Joe's gaffes and slip ups over the years, going back to the days when he was cogent.

2008 totally sucked. Failure of the republicans managing financial crises is what gave Obama the presidency. Like usual, I wasn't harmed in any way the by B.O., but you guys whine about it all the time.

^^^ lie. Shit went downhill after Dems took control of congress in Jan, 2007 and intentionally ran the economy into the ditch just so they could win the 2008 elections.
Don't try to tell me that crap. I was on a beach when the market crashed and know how much I has lost before I got back, and that the distributorship I had worked for 22 years was gone, the markets were still panicked, value of stocks and mutual fund still dropping like a rock. It did not stabilize of start to recover the last four months of the SonovaBush administration and as far as my retirement funds, they did not start to stabilize until April after Obama took over in February. I pulled my stuff, went private. Ducked into a damn nice GS Contractor job and started rebuilding my retirement back since I was already just about debt free. Late 2009, early 2010 things started to pick back up around here. The path was slowly upward for the economy after that and remained on the upward swing during the rest of his terms, giving me the room to put my crap back together without the volatility of the boom or bust republican mess we had been in. Obama gave dumb ass an active upward economy, which was a hell of a lot more the he had to work with, when he came in. When B.O. came in it was walking into a party house after the partying drunks had torn the place to hell and left it to the new owners to clean up the mess. When were you born, some time late 80s?

In comparsion to Biden's presser this afternoon, where he responded to two softball questions and replied to one as a no comment. Did anyone view the latest news confrence of President trump between 5 PM and 6 PM this evening?
Seems the questions aimed at Trump were quite numersous and lasted a lot longer that the complete teleprompter recitation of China Joey Xi Biden's.
Had Biden been prepared as Trump I would have appaulded his presser, yet all I can say is that it was another Biden flop...
