Anyone criticizing Trump for wanting to nominate a SCOTUS judge is completely off base.

Obama nominated someone to replace Scalia and it was the Republicans in the Senate who refused to vote on his nominee. Trump has every right and even a duty to nominate a replacement for Ginsburg. Whether or not the Republicans in the Senate vote on his nominee is on the GOP Senators. Anyone who perceives a double standard should be directing their criticism at the Republicans in Congress, not President Trump.

And yet Democrats, led by Ocasio Cortez, vow to remove Trump if he dares to try.

Democrats (Marxists actually) are at war with the Constitutional Right. The Right is still the deer caught in the headlights.

Did you criticize Obama for nominating Garland? Again, it was the GOP Senate that refused to vote on Garland. Trump had nothing to do with it and Trump has every bit as much right to nominate a replacement for Ginsburg as Obama did to nominate a replacement for Scalia.

Anyone that criticizes Democrats for adding more members to the court to return the legitimacy to it, is way off base.

You have no clue, BHU. The Orange dictatorship is trying to load up the court.
Load up the court?????????

He isn't the one vowing to increase the number of justices and pack the court, that would be the clowns on your side, idiot.
Trump if following his Constitutional duty. Grow the fuck up.

Exactly. These modern Leftists are indeed insane.
And this is what we are up against.
Histories most hypocritical liars and deceivers. Extreme moral narcissists.

If we allow them to win, God help us (even he won't be able to)

Why? Here's an interesting document, Fakey

Note what it says about the President and Senate roles in SCOTUS picks. Let me know where anyone violated that. Thanks

Every president does that, it's their longest lasting legacy. To think otherwise is stupid, or like a democrat.

Yep. And one of the basic things Republicans ran on in 2016 is do you want a Democrat making SCOTUS and other judicial picks? Promise made, promise kept.

Democrats have been all upset that Trump didn't keep his promise to make the Mexicans fund the wall. They should be glad he's keeping a campaign promise to put as many non-leftist judges in as possible, particularly on the SCOTUS

Trump is not breaking any rules, nor is he changing any rules. He is doing exactly what Obama did in the same situation, nominating a replacement. The only potential difference is whether or not the Senate chooses to vote on his nominee, which is out of Trump's control the same way it was out of Obama's control in 2016. If you want to be mad at someone, I could understand you being mad at Mitch McConnell before I could see you being mad at Donald Trump.

Democrats were already going to do that. Here's the thing, once you've already said what you are going to do, you don't get to turn around and turn what is already going to happen back into a threat.

swamp13: Oh yeah, well, we are going to stack the SCOTUS. But if you do this, wow, we're going to stack the SCOTUS, so you better not do it. We're going to stack it anyway, but you'll pay for it if you do this because we're going to do what we were going to do anyway.

See how that just fails as a threat? Then Republicans will do the same in reverse when they are back in power. And you'll melt down in complete hypocrisy that it's a Constitutional crises for Republicans to do what Democrats did.

You forget we've all seen this movie before. Telling us that Atlanta burns at the end of Gone With the Wind really isn't a spoiler, everyone knows that already. Hey, Dorothy gets back to Kansas at the end of the Wizard of Oz. Sorry about that spoiler ...
