Any thoughts on the kindle fire?

I am looking for input on the Kindle fire. What do you all think of this new toy? I do not have a kindle or an iPad so dont really know what the difference would be.

* Price point is attractive...

* Hardware is 1st generation, so it may not be completely bug-free...

* Browser is "cloud based" where most processing power takes place on Algore's interweb using Amazon's server farm...

* Files, tunes, movies, etc. are all cloud based as well - little is stored locally...

* I think I might be interested in the next version that hopefully includes a camera and 4g wireless capability...

Some good techie articles if you google the thing... Some are impressed - others not so much....
