I have only come across it once in my life. I was trying to do a deal and the two old guys I was dealing with referred to one of the lawyers as a "Jew Boy". It appears, there were some cases of anti-Semitism in the Labour party, such as the harassment of Jewish members, and the Labour party was slow to react to that.
On the other hand, there is a party leader who would sit down with, and even talk to, Palestinians, even demonstrate empathy for their grievances and support for their cause, and who had, at some time, a credible shot at becoming Prime Minister. Given all that, who didn't see the charge of anti-Semitism coming from a mile away?
