Constituents ripped Democratic Oklahoma Rep. Kendra Horn on Sunday, saying Democrats focus too much on impeachment and too little on improving the lives of Americans.

Horn, who represents most of Oklahoma, Pottawatomie and Seminole counties, spoke at a Sunday town hall meeting where voters angrily questioned her on why she continues to focus on impeachment. President Donald Trump won Horn’s district in the 2016 presidential election, and eight Republicans announced they will run for her vulnerable seat in 2020, according to the Oklahoman.

My Congresswoman, Susie Lee, just announced today she will be voting for impeachment. Our Congressional district is a swing district that leans slightly Republican, so she might be writing a check her butt can't cash on Election Day.

Democrats Are Guilty of Abuse of Power, Obstruction.

"There was an abuse of power at the Department of Justice, there was an abuse of power at the FBI, there was an abuse of power at the FISA court, there was abuse of power in our intel community, there was abuse of power even DOD was paying money to help set up the president," he said, referring to the Obama administration's investigation into the Trump campaign in the Russia collusion investigation.

"So there were all kinds of abuses of power, perhaps none more so than in the House of Representatives by the majority," that is, the Democrats. Indeed, many Republicans have accused Democrats of weaponizing impeachment in order to kneecap Trump for his re-election campaign in 2020.

Democrats should be expelled from Congress for turning impeachment into a political weapon. She noted Alexander Hamilton's warning in Federalist 65. The Founders attempted to insulate the impeachment process from partisan politics, warning of "the greatest danger that the decision will be relegated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt."

The Democrats don’t have the right to abuse the process; and, this was a total abuse of process. It was a witch hunt – that’s why they could not settle on a charge until they had exhausted that there was no evidence of a crime.

Democrats in the House of Representatives are poised to impeach President Donald Trump but not all members are on board, as there are 31 lawmakers in question.

The Daily Caller contacted the offices of all 31 House Democrats from districts where President Trump won in 2016 to ask them if they would vote to impeach President Trump, as many have not publicly stated where they stand on impeachment. Each office was contacted at least three times and all offices were given ample time to respond.
