DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — A gunman has shot seven people, killing five of them, in a subdivision west of Atlanta.

Five people were killed, including several children. And somebody really think that in this case only this man was guilty? I'm not against weapon usage(by cops, guards or army f.e.) but i'm against gun shops, gun-owners like that guy! Every year, hundreds of innocent people die from idiots which often talks that "Nobody will die from my weapons"...

Maybe he was "programmed" to kill, who knows? Government wants a ban on gun ownership and wants it badly.

There are 8-9,000 gun murders each year in the United States, on average....Each year, on average 1.6 million times guns are used to stop violent criminal attack and save lives....

Each year there are about 6-700 accidental gun deaths vs. 1.6 million times a year guns are used to stop violent criminal attack and save lives....

This is in a country of 320 million people, with over 310 million guns with over 11.1 million people carrying guns for protection from violent criminal attack....

That sort of puts it into better perspective doesn't it?

And somebody really think that in this case only this man was guilty?

Yes.....if he was the only one who pulled the trigger, then again...yes.

I'm not against weapon usage(by cops, guards or army f.e.)

We see this philosophy throughout history where only the government had guns....in nazi Germany, 12 million unarmed civilians murdered, Soviet Russia, 25 unarmed civilians were murdered, in Socialist China, 70 million unarmed civilians murdered, in modern Mexico where the government, both police and army work with the drug cartels to murder thousands of unarmed civilians a year, and in any number of countries, Rwanda, 800,000 unarmed civilians macheted to death, in Kenya, thousands of unarmed civilians killed by muslim terrorists.....

When only the police and military have weapons....unarmed civilians are much easier to kill in the thousands to millions.....we have seen that equation work out throughout history...how about we try the other equation....the one that has a well armed population that keeps the government from comitting mass murder......?

you really think that two glocks or rifle will help you to fight an army? You think that you can shoot better than well trained soldier? If our army begin to do such(germany, China, etc)things you will stop 'em? I don't think so.

Not too good at math, are you?

Two glocks in the hands of all gun owners equals 200 MILLION glocks....Still think its a small number?

Nobody really cares what you are against.

You have a link to this guy saying "Nobody will die from my weapons"?

I'd be willing to bet he had made threats before.

This is just another example of a growing trend, baby daddies who lash out at baby momma and her whole family.

As I always point out.....we have been fighting primitive barbarians for the last 14 years in Iraq and Afghanistan...we have the most advanced military technology the world has ever seen.....and they have fought us to the point where we have decided to just bring our troops home......and yet you irrational, anti gun nuts think that should our government turn into a typical socialist government and start murdering our people, that we would be less effective, than they are........considering they are primitively armed, while our people have the same militar weapons as our soldiers and police do......rifles and pistols are where we start......and millions of Americans under arms vs. our military would be a major issue for the government...which is why we need to stay armed...keeps the government from even thinking about murdering people....

Yes...the biggest indicator of these things isn't the gun...it is the prior history of domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse.....and you can usually bet they have had numerous encounters with police about domestic abuse.......

Of course.....the anti gunners fail to focus on those things...and think the gun possessed the guy and made him shoot....

and ignore the fact that he could simply go and get a 10 dollar hatchet from Wal Mart or simply use a knife from the kitchen.....or a couple bucks of gas in the middle of the night......
