Daycare is NOT public school. Even during the worst of the lockdowns, the daycares had to stay open on a limited basis so the essential workers could go to work. We're not talking apples and apples here, which is my only point. If OP wants to bitch about the decision not to reopen schools, fine; have at it. But it has nothing to do with his 2 year old going to daycare. Okay?

Let me point out the issues at hand.
It's absolute hypocrisy when you tell everyone that they can't send their kids to school because of COVID when you're putting your kid in a day care. Day care is still a large gathering of children. It doesn't matter what you want to call it. According to the left...any large gatherings of 4 or more is a super-spreader event and is outright banned. The argument seems to be over the label being used for the super-spreader event. Democrats will stage peaceful protests any time they want....but then turn around and condemn political rallies. Is there any question why we don't trust them after seeing this?

Then take into account the fact that Democrats want to clamp down on American citizens while they're allowing illegal migrants free movement all over the US. This just doesn't pass the smell test.
But then again....if you guys didn't have your double-standards you wouldn't be able to function.
