Another Half Truth From Obama.

Immelt and Buffett take advantage of Pub deals for the greedy rich- not their fault, dingbat. tyvm

If Buffett thinks he should pay more, why doesn't he? Why is he waiting for the government to tell him to do the right thing? Its stupid that he comes out and says "we should be paying more taxes, we can afford it." Really? Then why aren't you saying "I just wrote a check to the IRS for $xxxxxxxxxx because it is the patriotic thing to do? Better yet why isn't he hosting a reality show to set up his own welfare system to save the federal government the temptation of wasting even more money on some idiotic program like paying companies who hire someone after they've not been able to find a job for six months?

Oh yeah, because he's rhetorical just like everyone else.

Mike

Warren Buffet needs to get his business right with the IRS, before he continues with the lie about he and his secretary.

And, as you pointed out, he doesn't believe in transferring wealth from generation to generation, so, fuck him!.

He's just another lying, tax cheating socialist. Let him rot in hell.

Warren Buffet is a socialist? Are you out of your mind? Believing in taxes and government spending certainly does not make you a socialist.

Anyway, I don't have a problem with his stance on transferring wealth to his kids. He isn't saying others shouldn't do it (although, he favors an estate tax), he's saying that he personally won't do it. That's certainly fine. His kids will be well off no matter what their inheritance is.

Warren Buffet is being a bit dishonest when he talks about raising taxes on the rich. One, he can pay as much as he wants. Actually, since he doesn't believe in transferring wealth from generation to generation, he has a lot of money he can give to the treasury. Two, he really doesn't distinguish between the well-off, the rich and the super rich.

Besides, as has been pointed out, Buffet's taxes aren't income, but capital gains. If he argued that capital gains be taxes progressively, it would be one thing. But instead, he argues that the top tax bracket be increased on the wealthy, not capital gains (unless I'm mistaken). It's a bit disingenuous.

I'm not saying there isn't merit to raising taxes on the wealthy. I'm just saying that I wouldn't use Warren Buffet to support my point.

Warren Buffet is literally the poster child for capitalism. He's a self-made multi-billionaire.

Unfortunately, he's turned into a pseudo-socialist old coot.

He needs to quit lying about he and his secretary, and his company needs to get right with the IRS and pay their damn bill. If he's so concerned and supportive of the government grubbing for money, then he needs to pay that tax bill HIMSELF, or STFU!

If he's so concerned about what his lil' secretary is being taxed, then he can pay her taxes, or STFU.

I'm sick of listening to that whiney ol' coot, who only started his love affair with the IRS when his sorry ass started being exposed as a damn tax cheat.......He's a damn hypocrite, nothing more,

So Obama used tonight's speech to repeat the Liberal line that Warren Buffet Pays less taxes than his Secretary.

Why is it he fails to point out that he is comparing Income Taxes to Capital Gains Taxes.

Warren Buffet Used his money, Which he already paid Income Taxes on, to invest, and he pays Capital Gains taxes on the Return he gets. Same as Millions of Americans. The Money they invest and Realize Capital Gains on, was all income once, and they paid Income tax on it at that time. Now they are paying taxes on it again, as they invest and get a return.

His Secretary is earning the Money for the first time, and paying taxes on it for the first time. Pretty cheap to slip dishonest, misleading Liberal Talking points into a so called Jobs speech.

Warren Buffett owes back taxes so he should pay his own taxes before he suggest that others pay more.

And it's no small change either that he owes. A billion dollars!

He's also an obama supporter thats a tax cheat. When you don't pay taxes you can afford to say taxes should be raised.

I guess that old saying ius true in this case raising, taxes is a good thing unless it's my money being taxed.

Warren Buffet himself made the comparison between the inequity of the tax burden imposed on his secretary and himself. This is not a Liberal talking point.:eusa_liar:
