Another great milestone for the country, 400 million barrels of oil in January. MAGA!

More of The Great Obama's legacy the Blob riding

"The irony is that President Obama - who is not viewed as a friend of the oil and gas industry - has presided over rising oil production in each of the seven years he has been in office. (On a separate note, expect that streak to be broken in 2016). From that low point in 2008, U.S. oil production has grown each year to reach 9.4 million bpd in 2015 -- a gain of 88% during Obama's presidency. This is in fact the largest domestic oil production increase during any presidency in U.S. history."

And yet like the economy, he had nothing to do with it. Most of those gains were on private land via fracking.

Obama’s energy legacy: Oil, natural gas production on federal lands tanked

Neither Obama nor Trump deserve credit for the oil boom. However, Trump did less to interfere with the oil boom. Obama was restricting oil companies from wildlife refuges and was encouraging the EPA to stifle their progress with crushing environmental restrictions.

I never said Trump was responsible for our lower energy prices. He just didn't get in the way or interfere with our oil production. Like I said, Warren is promising to put a halt to all fracking in this country, and that will have a dramatic impact on our economy as price for fuel doubles.

Now why did it start taking so long to get deep water permits in the Gulf? Oh yeah, I remember a huge deepwater blowout

"New regulations require all deepwater drilling plans to undergo an environmental assessment process. Those plans have an average approval time of 222 days or more than seven months.

In a statement to Fox News, the BLM says it is not against oil shale and tar sands deveopment, but will restrict the amount of public lands available for leasing until the processes are proven, and proven safe. If shown to be viable in coming years, the agency says more federal lands may be opened up to oil shale and tar sands development.

In 2012 America became the worlds biggest oil producer.

Thanks again President Obama.

That's just some of the anti-energy links I have on Obama, I'm sure there are plenty more. Take the Keystone pipeline for instance.

It's no secret that Democrats are against fuel production in our country, as well as using fossils fuels for energy consumption. They picture a country full of solar panels and windmills with everybody driving an electric car. We don't want our country to look like that, paying twice or three times the cost of energy we pay for now.

We have the best economy in over 50 years. Usually, the price of fuel soars when we have an economy like this. I just passed a gas station today, and the price was $2.35 per gallon for gasoline. I want to keep it that way.

The oil boom was not as great as it could have been under Obama because he refused to side with the oil companies against the EPA. Obama is actually a supporter of the EPA, whereas Trump wants to eliminate it. Additionally, any oil that was not drilled was a detriment to the oil boom regardless of whether it was in the western states or not.

Remember in early 2018 when we broke the previous monthly record for oil production in the USA that had stood since Richard Nixon's presidency? That was 300 million barrels of oil in one month. In January of 2020, we broke 400 million barrels of oil. This is an example of why the Democrats want him out of office, they can't stand progress and winning. MAGA!
And a direct result of this fantastic news is the unbelievably low gas prices at the pump. I haven't seen prices this low in over 20 years. Another wonderful win for our president!

was that what happened under Carter? ohhhhokay

he had better unemployment stats than trump -

ok that -
prove it

President Jimmy Carter added 9.8 million jobs, a 10.9 percent increase.

President Trump created 4.7 million jobs in his first two years. That's a 3.1 percent increase over the 152.2 million people working at the end of Obama's term

STFU

that proves nothing. job adds doesn't necessarily correlate to unemployment numbers. hmmmm

Obama had published his plans to open vast areas of new leases in the Gulf and along the Atlantic coast right before the Horizon blew out.

Texas is driving the shale boom now.
