Let’s get this straight: there are profiteering crooks on both sides of the aisle on the hill. Any politician who writes a book while in office is a crook. All politicians who use their position for financial gain are crooks.

Do you know how many hours it takes to write a book, like an autobiography based upon a political narrative? Way too many, but I’ll check for average estimates. No politician should be writing books on the dime of his state constitutes nor federal tax monies either. The salary they earn as civil servants working for his or her constituents should not include spending days and weeks marketing and selling books and making personal profit. Of course it’s the state’s voters who decide if that matters to them or not. For you to support that indicates that you believe politicians should be able to be career politicians and gain wealth from their positions.

I hold no envy against people who work hard, employ many, and their efforts pay off.

Kennedy dropped the top tax rate from 90 to 70, Reagan dropped the top tax rate from 70 to 50 and had success but on the way out the door he cut it to 28% and we have not been able to invest in infrastructure and Americans ever since. And the Republicans keep giving tax breaks to the rich. Everyone is paying about 25 to 27% in all taxes, everything you know about taxes is baloney. All you know about is the federal income tax; our only progressive tax lol. if you knew the facts you would be a Democrat.
