Do you think we are losing our privacy due to technology? In the movie Anon, there are no cell phones or laptop computers because everyone's brains are networked. As a person sees strangers while walking down the street, facial recognition kicks in and identifies the name and occupation of each stranger. Everyone's eyes and ears act as camera's and microphones as every moment of each person's life is recorded and stored in the system.

If a crime is committed, law enforcement can access the recordings of everyone involved to determine guilt or innocence. Usually this makes detective work very easy, except some people have learned how to hack the system. The movie is about a serial murder that can hack into people's brains and "photoshop" their video memories. The hacker can even hack a person's perception of real time events.

A detective goes undercover to find the hacker that is the serial killer. The state provides him with fake video memories. The detective hires an escort, makes whoppie with her, and then hires a hacker off the dark web to edit out his time with the hooker.

While watching the movie, I was kind of rooting for the hacker because big brother had become way too powerful.

I actually liked that movie. It was a 'one-woman fight' against authoritarianism. The levels in which they could pry into a person life were actually quite frightening.

Plus, we got to see Amanda Seyfried completely nude. Well worth the cost! LOL

I don't normally care for Clive Owen, but he did a pretty good job. I can't imagine what kind of world it would be where someone can put images into your mind and you think they are real!

I was about to say, Joe Biden could relate, but we should keep politics out of this.

I highly recommend this movie.

It is not just that, it is many games.
Do not download games that are not made by a recognizable company in America or Europe.
Many of these games when you click "ok" - it gives itself enormous access to virtually everything on your phone. Including all of your contacts.
Stay away from the games you see on facebook.... they are nothing more than a front to give access to your phone to unknown parties.
