Ancient message in Genesis to the world

Primitive Transmission

The Old Testament is a confused and contradictory Telephone Game text. It is full of parables intended by the Hebrew leaders to give moral messages and in no way should be taken literally. The Flood was a local event caused by the melting of the glaciers. That's how far back these stories went.

Yah-weh is similar to the way the Romans pronounced Jove. It represents a prehistoric Mongol bloodbath, not a god, that separated the Hebrews from the other Aryans, as all the tribes were scattered (The Odyssey also re-enacts that diaspora, which brought into Europe all its White people).

The glaciers took thousands of years to melt. The retreat of the glaciers caused desertification in Arabia and Africa.

Communism Followed the History of Christianity Phase by Phase

It's just lies to keep the Christians believing that they'd become godlike within their own lifetime. The Communists used the same tactic to make their subjects believe it would soon change their country into a secular paradise within a few years. Then a few more years and on and on with the promises until it all fell apart.
Christians do become more 'Godlike' in their own lifetime. Many non-Christians do as well. It's man's destiny and purpose. :)

Man's destiny is defined in Genesis. "God blessed them (man and woman); and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it (the earth); and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." -- Genesis 1:23 NASB

Nature is destined to provide for man, nature is not made to be worshiped but to serve mankind. Once man has filled the earth and subdued it, game over.......God's longsuffering with man will end. Its simply a matter of logic and reason, there will come a time when nature will not be able to provide for the total number of men on the earth.........only God will decide when that time has come. As of right now some are thinking the time is at hand......but in reality, the State of Texas alone could hold the entire world population with less of a population density than China now faces in its high population areas.

The point is........mathematically speaking, the whole world's population could fit into a single US state with each person having 1000 ft of living space. It becomes moot when you consider the rest of the land mass on earth could be used to serve mankind's needs, not to mention the abudence of the seas that cover the majority of the earth's surface. Conclusion: mankind is no where near filling and subduing the earth. Mankind does not have a population problem.......mankind faces a poor management problem. Man has not been, as commanded by God........a good caretaker of the land.

What are you talking about? You are sounding like you are picking daisies out in left field. Yes they did what? Are you saying the Mt. of Olives parted when Jesus was on the earth 2,000 years ago? No it did not.
The Mt. parting is in Zechariah chapters 12-14. Jesus standing in the parted Mt. is in those chapters. The armies from the north will be stopped by the Lord and this all happens in these latter days. In the near future.
What didn't exist in the 1830's? The OT and NT both existed. The understanding of Revelation also existed as Joseph Smith writes about it in the D&C and other places. Get a grip. This is nothing new. The people of Paul's days were hoping it would happen in their days. It didn't. And, there has been a great apostasy from the transliteration of John the Revelator to 1820. But, I can see many are still in apostasy and deniel.

She makes it up she goes along. She simply can't stand that she might be wrong. According to her The death and resurrection is an "epic myth". See my signature

Prove it.
Revelation was written to the 7 churches in Asia? That's easy to prove.........read chapter 1 in the book of revelation that was recorded by the apostle John. The very first sentence states, "...........show THINGS WHICH MUST "SHORTLY" TAKE PLACE". -- Rev. 1:1

Rev. 1:2 declares to whom the messages were written, "..........John to the 7 churches that "ARE" (not past tense, not in the future but ARE) in Asia."

There Proved it.

She doesn't believe in the 2nd coming either. She can't tell you why she doesn't she just makes that claim.

Naa, perhaps get to see Him return?

This hasn't happened yet.....we have somethin to look forward to.

1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Just read it. The people of the first century understood it perfectly.

I've read it a thousand times Margot. Surely an "educated" gal like yourself knows that correct exegesis cannot happen by singling out 1 verse and simply claiming it as absolute "proof".

Has this happened yet?
Revelation 1:7
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation concerns everything from John's day up to and including the end time and the return of Christ.

1:19 "Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;"

Note that John is quickly taken spiritually to the "Day of the Lord"; the end time conflagration and Christ's triumphant return.

Yes. The Syriac Bible is from 200 AD and it supports the early date for the revelation letter.

norwegen

Nope. John tells the seven churches of Asia that he's their brother in tribulation.

Jehovah Witnesses also belittle Jehovah (Jesus Christ) as well.
