The tide is turning against left-wing tyranny and the anti-civil rights agenda of the DemoKKKrats.

The Lone Star State could become the eleventh so-called “Second Amendment Sanctuary” state, and that could impact President Joe Biden’s gun control agenda.

Second Amendment Sanctuary (SAS) or gun sanctuary states – as well as counties and even local municipalities – are those that have adopted laws or resolutions that oppose or even prohibit/impede the enforcement of certain gun control measures by the state or federal government.

The proponents of such “sanctuary” laws have argued that many gun control resolutions are in violation of the rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. It was Carroll County, Maryland that was the first to explicitly use the term “sanctuary” in a resolution in May 2013, and to date, there are about 1,200 local governments in forty-two states that have adopted such resolutions.

Texas is not as gun-free as our reputation indicates. Arizona, Idaho, Alaska, Oklahoma, and Kansas are ALL better.

We have a lot of things to change, and we have been doing it slowly. This is a step in the right direction, but it has been slowly moving this way for the past 40 years.

But cops will continue to enforce gun restrictions on people..

The ones that are currently constitutional law, yes. Sanctuary status protects citizens from the anti-civil rights attacks being waged by DemoKKKrats today.
Yet the cops break the law concerning asset forfeiture guaranteed in the 4th and 14th Amendment and you support the pigs. Cops enforce gun restrictions that are constitutional only by court decree and not by law. Because there are not supposed to be any restriction of the rights to arms...

.

Police and sheriff's deputies are a local matter that should be handled at the local level.
If you have a problem with your local law enforcement, then you should be wise enough to take it up with the people you elect locally.

I personally don't have a problem with local law enforcement.
With the exception of when the deputies don't think it is funny when I ask them if they are going to roll their SWAT Team
and Urban Combat Vehicle to round up some loose cows on Highway 5.

.

Texas needs to step up and defend their border too
And get a back up system for their petroleum delivery system.

A simple executive order could solve this dilemma.

The defense and protection of the state and of the United States is an obligation of all persons within the state. The legislature shall provide for the discharge of this obligation and for the maintenance and regulation of an organized militia.

I agree, and that's fucked up. Think about that next time you spout off about how "only cops and the military should have guns".

I have never said that since I have had a firearm since I was nine and had a bigger one in the army...You know what you do when you assume?
