American Military Equipment From Afghanistan Spotted On Iranian Highway (Photos)

1 Sep 2021 ~~ By Mark Van der Veen
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that it was not the Biden administration’s intention to arm the Taliban with billions of dollars in military equipment originally given to the Afghan government but claimed that the United States is taking steps to “reduce the amount of equipment” in the Taliban’s possession before completing the troop withdrawal at the end of the month.
Psaki, fielding questions at Monday’s White House press briefing, declined to “get into details” of how specifically U.S. forces are carrying out the equipment destruction or recovery but assured reporters “that is part of their effort.”
Rep. Jim Banks, an Indiana lawmaker who chairs the Republican Study Committee and served in Afghanistan, estimated the value of what was left behind at $85 billion.
Here’s the arsenal that we provided to the Taliban:

It seems that Psaki as the rest of her administration provided us with some fake news as not a single piece of military equipment was destroyed and our forces left yesterday!
This morning a video surfaced of the Taliban military parade where you can’t tell the difference if it’s America’s military parade or Taliban’s!

A social media post originating in Iran posted several images of Humvees loaded on transport trucks stopped on the side of an Iranian highway.
An Iranian Telegram channel that covers military stories has released these “exclusive” images that purportedly show humvees and other military vehicles spotted on the Semnan-Garmsar road in Iran.

The end of the month came and went, and the Biden administration left the Taliban armed with more US military equipment than many NATO nations have.
Just to think back to the Obama era when to when our military was so underfunded that they were forced to cannibalize vehicles and aircraft in order to stay operational.
Apparently now by order of our incompetent Joey Xi we have left equipment for the Taliban who are sharing their equipment with Iranian forces.
Things just keep getting worse for the Bai Dung administration..

Sadly, it wouldn’t be a big surprise to anybody capable of rational thought. Doubtless Iran and China would like to get their hands on some of those weapons.

The Humvee came into service my first year of commissioned service. That was 37 years ago. I am sure the Iranians and Chinese have all of the "technology" in that overgrown 4 wheel drive pick-up truck!

Your chart is grossly incorrect if you assume that these weapons were provided to the Taliban.

The M1117 APCs were Afghani, and not American.

The M1113 APCs are Vietnam era vehicles.

The Mi-17 helicopters are Soviet leftovers, and the MD530 helicopters are US built, but not in the US military's inventory.

With the exception of the C-130s, none of those aircraft are in the US military's inventory.

Both Iran and America are forming an alliance with the Taliban. America has no other choice.

Did the US know all along that the puppet government would fall? Obviously yes!
The equipment left behind wasn't destroyed.

The US under Biden is covertly de-escalating hostile relations with Iran, in what is now being seen as in America's best interests.

This jibes with the 3-way deal involving US, Canada, and China to release Weng Manzhou.

That will leave a mark, I wager.

~~~~~~
33 Black Hawk helicopters...
22 Super Tucano planes
BTW, the M1113 is still used by the U.S. military...
The M1117 is used by our Military Police, National Guard, it is used to replace the Humvee because of it armor protection.
So you say that this military equipment is of no use to the Taliban? Strangely those armored vehicles were used extensively in destroying the hold outs in the Panjshir Valley.
The US military does not use the Super Tucano,
When and where is the M113 still used? Support roles only. It was replaced by the Bradley.
The M1117 were owned by the Afghani military. They were never ours.
When did I say they would be of no use to the Taliban? Answer: I didn't.
I maintain the graphic contained false and misleading information.
