I am proud to say I have no Problem with one person having 48 Billion dollars when they earn it. You do realize when that person was earning that 48 Billion they paid taxes on it. They Contributed Big TIME to our Revenue, By being Productive and making Money. The Cost of Living will sky rocket and making 20 Bucks an hour will end up being just like making 7.50 an hour is today. Only now all your retired people living on SS, or other Fixed Incomes are fucked because their Income never changed despite the Massive Inflation that would accompany such a large raise in the Minimum Wage.

So if they work there whole lifes to build a business. Pretty much starting from scratch through orgnizing his/her budget and slowly building upwards to the point that he/her can start hiring. The truth is a person if the product is a good one can keep growing and growing...Look at Bill gates...He started small and worked his way up...His corporation made hundreds of billions if not trillions of dollars of net worth. selling something we all need(personal computers, software, ect). He earned a share of this money because he was the one to start it and make it successful.

Think of this when you open up a lemonade stand...The little girl buys lemons, cups, and a what ever else she needs. She offers each cup for 10 percent on top of what it takes to buy the produce(lemons, cups). So lets say it cost .75 cents to do that and she can now sell her product .75+.075=.825 cents a cup...She starts out making a profit for her time of near seven and a half cents pure cup sold. A week later she has grown her business from 2 buyers to 30 buyers...She is working hard and feels that she deserves more...So she increases it to 20 percent or .15c for her profit. It is now .90c per cup. The thing is her business increases as this is still a killer of a deal...She knows what she is doing. The people around this area love lemonade!!! So lets say that she finds someone that will do work for 20% at a lemonade stand 2 streets over. Well, she is still the boss being that she does the math and hands out the pay check, but her business has increased...Lets say by the 3rd week it is avging 200 buyers between the two a day.... .90cx200=180 dollars per day in total in take, but profit is 36 dollars...This keeps growing and growing. People come far and wide to come to either of the stands...500 people by week 6 are coming a day...She has to chose does she went to hire another person to deal with the high number, which would break her increasing profit between 3 people instead of 2....Is it worth it? This is not equal across the board as she does the book work and the thinking, so she takes 60 percent of the profit...

A business can work like this. And it grows and grows. You think that these hard working business people don't deserve money? Some of these people go to college for years to get the skills to be a ceo...They're payed at what they're worth.

I went to the rally in my city tonight. It was about what you would expect with all different types of people (yes some were wacko's) reminded me of the tea party. So then I started asking them what brought them down, and the general consensus I recieved was that they were pissed off at the corruption, the cronyism, the lack of accountability and most importantly the federal reserve.

The federal reserve was the unifying factor amongst everyone, and it was clearly what most people were interested in. They are forming groups so they can educate everyone on how our monetary system is a total failure and a sham built from the ground up to cause inequality and maintain a status quo.

I was reading a bit of Christopher Hitchens' book 'letters to a young contrarian' and this thread reminded me of his discussion on how Emile Zola spoke out about the Dreyfus affair or about how one soldier brought forth the horror at My Lai. Truth is too hard for most people, they'd rather hide behind closed doors. But there is also this complex of scapegoating that requires honest voices and rational analysis. If anyone thinks life is peaches and cream and that reason eventually wins, they know no history. Let's hope this movement creates a climate in which a slightly better use of the resources of the world develops for all.
