The House of Representatives should resolve that:

  1. Donald J. Trump was defeated by Joseph R. Biden in the 2020 election and he should acknowledge that fact as well as his support for the principle that no man or woman is above the law, including an ex-president of the United States.
  2. Federal law should require detailed background checks for all attempted gun purchases, involving criminal background checks and mental health reports to law enforcement that demonstrate physical dangers to others.
  3. Federal law must guarantee all women the right to choose to terminate pregnancies in the event of rape, incest, or in order to protect the health of the mother.
  4. Federal law must require significant reduction of CO2 emissions by business and individuals, accompanied by tax incentives and subsidies to require use of clean energy alternatives, with severe financial and legal penalties within a fixed period of time for violators.
  5. Support for strict enforcement of border security laws, including additional funds to require expedited, due-process-guaranteed hearings on pre-entry applications for amnesty, requiring a prima facie factual showing of imminent threat to lives of individuals and families.

Thank you GOP wingnut extremists. Thank you

What's wrong with any of that? Let those resolutions come up for a vote, and let's get our Representatives on the record before we vote for them next. If voting against the idea of more Firearms regulations means a representative loses the next election, then he was not representing the will of his people, now was he?

The most hardcore racist Democrat liberal socialist District deserves to be represented by a fellow hardcore racist Democrat liberal socialist. It doesn't matter how much I disagree with those racist democrats.

What did you think representative democracy meant?

Why wouldn't they be? Every representative represents a district filled with American taxpayers, citizens, and voters. Should only special Representatives be allowed to bring resolutions up for a vote?
House rules

Legislative bodies

It's amazing how totally ignorant people who spout shit about democracy can be. And this goes for all sides in political.government debates

The US of A is a democratic republic, using a form of democracy called 'representative democracy'

Funny thing is, it's not popular democracy, which is what some of the imbeciles here keep chanting they want

Technically speaking, it's a compound Republic with democracy being a popular type of a governance and an aspect of a Republican form of government.

Quit trying to sound smart.

'compound Republic?' LOL

There are more than one type of Republics. A Democratic one is recognized.

We have republican (r) form of government We are a democratic republic.

"democracy being a popular type of a governance?' LOL and there are more than one form of democracy. We happen to have representative democracy, not popular democracy

sound smart?

See Federalist #51.

For starters.

And to your other spew about being a ''representative Democracy,'' the primary characteristic and distinguishing feature of ''a Democracy'' (n0t to be confused with ''democracy'') is Rule by Omnipotent Majority.

In ''a Democracy,'' The Individual, and any group of Individuals composing any Minority, have no protection against the unlimited power of The Majority.

It is a case of Majority-over-Man.

This is true whether it be ''a Direct Democracy,'' or ''a Representative Democracy.''

Just stop, before I make you look completely stupid in front of all of your friends.

it's laughable that you sit here and refer to other people as being ignorant and stupid when you're a primary example of not only those same charges you make toward them, but demostrate a a great deal of pride in your ignorance.
