It was definitely not an issue of race.

We shouldn't celebrate either way. THe dead man and the police, to a lesser degree, are all victims here.

No cop goes to work wanting to murder (or hopefully none)

Actually, I suspect many cops absolutely do clock in hoping this is the day they get to kill someone.

I'm sure some do. And if that primarily means people who mug old ladies, rape children, beat and enslave women, or open fire on people peacefully dining in restaurants... Then I say let them have at it. Because I sure don't want to have to pay to keep people like that in prison, and I sure don't want them on the street either.
