Alex Jones and Compensatory Damages

OK, there isn't any doubt that Alex Jones is a bad person, and that he peddled a ridiculous conspiracy theory about the Sandy Hook shootings. Let's also acknowledge that some of the crazies who take him seriously made threats against some of the principles, and the actual victims were made to feel badly. For a while.

A billion dollars in damages?

No actual harm was done to anyone. No physical damage. No injuries, disease or death to anyone. And now with the publicity of the trial, there is essentially nobody remaining who takes the conspiracy theory seriously.

A billion dollars in damages?

Gimmeafukkinbreak. Give them each $10k and a couple of coupons for Arby's roast beef. That should about do it.

The American tort law system sucks. Big time.
Agreed.

Now that the pharmaceutical companies have admitted over in front of the EU parliament, that the jabs were never tested to control the spread of Covid, and all the propaganda of the past two years, to compel folks to get jabs, was based on propaganda and lies? Should we not then, hold celebrities, new organizational, corporations, and politicians to the same standards that they are holding to Jones?

I have heard of multiple stories of folks that did not want to get the jab, who later suffered permanent health damages, and folks who lost loved ones, this is a far bigger tragedy, than this trial of Jones spreading a conspiracy about a mass shooting.

IMO.

It seems to me, everyone does not want to acknowledge the global government and global corporations, took everyone for a ride, and they STILL have all our money. And the lying psychopaths that did it? Looks like they all are going to stay in power.
