You may hate Al, but if you listen to the video, you see that his 'then the American people voted for socialism' is his response to the interviewer describing the opinions of some on the healthcare bill. This time Sharpton isn't giving his view of Obama or his policies, just that if some people describe them as socialist, then Americans must have voted for socialism because, according to Sharpton, Obama told the people he was going to do this when he ran and they still voted for him.
