On Monday evening, the FBI took the unprecedented step of raiding the home of former President Donald Trump. What were they looking for? Astonishingly, what is being leaked to the media is that they were after documents that possibly violated the Presidential Records Act.

None of this is a coincidence, and none of it is justified. Even if Trump was in possession of some documents that needed to be archived, that is the kind of thing that has historically been dealt with in court, not with an FBI raid, and the former president was fully cooperating to this point.
Meanwhile, Hunter Biden has been implicated in multiple federal crimes and his house hasn’t been raided. Hillary Clinton was proven to have illegally retained classified information on a private server, and her house was never raided. This isn’t about Trump not being above the law, as some on the right have naively proclaimed. It’s about a completely different set of rules being applied depending on what political ideology someone adheres to. In simpler terms, it’s about blatant corruption.
Further, it’s about baiting the trap.

Rumors on the Hill indicate the FBI had compromising material they were actually looking for. IF this is true, the whole warrant was a sham. A ruse to find things that prove criminality of the FBI in other Trump related investigations where they made up evidence. Whistleblowers say they did not have probable cause, and this was a ruse to recover papers (evidence of criminality) that would be used against them in the coming congress.

This thing is blowing up in democrat and deep state faces... Rank and File agents are pissed about what the criminals at the top are doing to their agency.

The role Congress has is to look into inappropriate matters of the FBI and DOJ like invading the home of a former President for the first time in history. I agree, flipping Senate seats is no easy task. Here in Arizona Mark Kelly is deemed vulnerable, but I wouldn't bet much on him losing, he has a lot of Gabby Giffords sympathy supporters here.

Here in WA, long time incumbent democrat Sen. Patty Murray is up for reelection and the way they ran a smear campaign against novice opponent Tiffany Smiley in a field of 18 candidates is very telling that the democrats are worried about her seat. I hope they are right and Smiley runs away with the position in the general election.
