Adulterated racism

Because Big Black Dog asked the question.

As the debate over jobs turns into the latest political tug-of-war, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri walks a careful but candid line. As chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, he has been at odds with President Barack Obama over his administration's response to the soaring unemployment rate in the African-American community.
Nearing 17 percent, joblessness among blacks is at a three-decade high and almost twice the size of the overall unemployment rate. The black caucus wants the president to do more.
But the group's efforts are freighted with political sensitivities, given Obama's unique role as the first African-American occupant of the White House and the sometimes untethered animosity that his election has triggered.
"If (former President) Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House," Cleaver said. "There is a less-volatile reaction in the CBC because nobody wants to do anything that would empower the people who hate the president."

Looks like the CBC cares more about the color of Obama's skin than the fact that he is screwing over black people. Me pointing this out makes me a racist. I think this qualifies as adulterated racism.

How is Obama "screwing over black people"?

let me spell it out for you. He is President, and they have 17% unemployment because his Polices SUCK!

That's how.

That amongst other things. I think the black community should get together and get rid of the trash that is ruining their hoods, have a community watch or something. But it seems like some are content with that status quo as long as they keep getting the gubment cabbage.
And I truly do mean this in a non-racist way.

The milking of the system has no color restrictions.

I concur 100%, but in this thread we are talking about the black community.

It is human nature to favor the guys that will make life seem easier for you. Lower standards here, look the other way there.

I do believe you may be on to something here.

It does seem to resemble a catch 22.............

I mean no disrespect Ollie, I got out of the army a lowly buck sergeant, but I feel I must inform you that someone shit in your signature. HAHA:lol:

Buck up Sergeant and learn to appreciate winners when you see them......

How is Obama "screwing over black people"? Is he reponsible for black people's education choices?

Is he responsible for the criminal past of a certain segment of black people?

Is he responsible for procreation choices of black people?
We keep being told Whitey is, and we have to pay for it.

You need to take that up with the congressional black caucus..................

I see you skipped the rest of the questions I asked. Why?

Same answer... They are the subject. If anyone could provide insight to this thinking we had hoped it would be you.

Why me? I don't think like that. I taught my kids to rely on themselves in life. Success isn't measured in monetary terms, it's measured in an honest day's work and how you take care of your family and responsibilities. When my kids played in those "no score keeping" sports leagues, I kept score and reminded my kids who won or lost. If my kid was failing a class and the school said they would "push" them ahead, I made sure they got the grade they earned. If that meant they failed, so be it. Steel is made with fire and failure is the best teacher.

I spent 20 years in the military and I learned very early that a lot of kids are not prepared by their parents for the real world. I promised myself that if something happened to me my kids would be able to take care of themselves at a very early age.

Is this the first time the black unemployment rate has been higher than the national average?

Can you point out what you "pay" that goes exclusively to black people?

Yes I did. Now show how that is inconsistent with what I posted above.

No, and neither can the hand-wringers and race baiters who demand I pay for things I never did to people who weren't affected by what I didn't do. They just know I need to pay more to expiate my alleged sins.

You will never understand, and unfortunately neither will they.

When you are in a hole and a hand reaches down to help you out, you do not first look at the color of the hand.

No. You take the hand, look at the color of the person and if it's the wrong one push them in the hole and walk away.

You didn't lean a single fucking thing from your time in the service, did you?

I pity the Soldiers that had to serve with and under you.

All of them. You were a piss-poor NCO. You may think your prejudice was well-hidden, but all your Soldiers saw it.

You let them down. You did NOT hold to the highest traditions and honor of the United States Army.

You should be ashamed of yourself, but you don't have the integrity.
