Since many on this board use AdAware, please be aware (no pun intended) that there is a new version available: AdAware SE. I ran a scan with AdAware 6.0 (the old version), then installed the new version - it found 217 NEW files.

BTW, thanks for everyone's advice on installing this program in the first place. It sure does make web-surfing more enjoyable!

Yes Jeff, SE ( the new version ) is a great improvement over version 6. In our lab tests, SE was able to detect and remove far more bugs. One great improvement is the ability to scan alternate data streams, a great hiding place that is being employed by more and more spyware.
