Adam Toledo - 13yo Shot And Killed By Officer

Adam toledo, a 13 yr old boy gets shot by police after fleeing from police and discarding a hand gun he had with him as he ran away. the boy was out there in the street at 3.00 am. chicago mayor lori lightfoot says we fail adam. NO MAYOR LIGHTFOOT, HIS PARENTS FAIL ADAM. parents are responsible for their children.
Is Lori Lightfoot some kind of genetic altered material. Is she what they were hiding in New Mexico from the crashed UFO and escaped?
I always ask this question. Where is the bastards father? Who is the bastards father? hat is the bastards father doing not raising his bastard?

You can't really change generations of worthless bastards one after another

Anyone ever here a black kid called Adam?
I thought he was Hispanic?
Ever here a Hispanic named Adam..lolol

Si, senor.

Anyone claiming that "he didn't have a gun when he was shot" is either a liar or a fool. He dropped the gun (which he had feloniously discharged a few minutes earlier) immediately before he turned around. The gun was seen and photographed at the scene.

Leftists are evil. That's all there is to it.

It's the latest development in the heartbreaking story of Toledo's disappearance and death. It took authorities almost three days to notify Toledo's mother that her son had been fatally shot by the (as-yet-unnamed) police officer, despite her having filed a missing persons report for him on March 28. And only now has the body cam footage revealed the true circumstances of his death, specifically the fact he was not holding a gun when shot.

The whole LEO culture is one of death to minorities. This is our police state.

What was a child doing running around in the streets of Chicago at 3:00 am with a gun?

Your link doesn't work.

The adult who was with him put him in that position. Why were shots being fired in the first place, in a residential neighborhood when we already have plenty of incidents happenning and being reported in the news practically every day in recent times.

A post that perfectly personifies the willing.
Those who have no problem repeating inaccuracies while knowing the truth is the opposite of their claim.
Technically he was not holding a gun. But, as shown repeatedly, he was holding a gun split seconds before being shot.
He was running down an alley with a gun in his hand. Stopped running, with gun still in his hand. As the officer saw him, and the gun, he dropped the gun just as he turned to face the officer.
That is what happened.
The likes of Moon...want to repeat a spin that he didn't have a gun when shot. Without mentioning the above facts verified by video.
This is a still frame from just before he was shot, show me where his gun is that put the cops life in danger.

Look at the still shot, literally, one second before that.
Cops aren't super human.
Like I said... when he was chasing the kid... the kid had a gun in his hand.
When the kid stopped running... a gun was in his hand...
The officer yelled drop it... and the kid had a gun in his hand...
He dropped the gun as he turned around.... as shown in still frames in a split second before your narrative hit piece photo.
And also shown, after the shot the gun is laying on the ground.

Yet another minority killed by the executive branch in another liberal run city.

If you are a minority you need to run, not walk, out of a liberal run city...got to a place and vote the opposite....there you might have a chance to LIVE, and in addition raise your family, and make an income

Damn right!!!

What is really important here....

Why did the media choose a still frame shot showing no gun in hand, when a split second before you can see... a gun in his hand??

If that is true, he tossed the gun and put his hands up....why was he still shot?

"If" it is true... what does that mean?
He had a gun. It is not arguable, it is clearly in the video.

And again, cops are not super human. The kid had a gun, literally a split second before the cop shot him.

He was playing "chicken" with the cops. You should try it.

A 13 year old out at 3 A.M.

I am all for reforms in our Policing system. I recognize that there are despicable abuses of power and a toxic culture between cops and the black community. I support efforts to fix these things. But when activists and the media over politicize and use incidents involving a good cop and justified shooting then they stomp all over their cause and fuel their opposition.

I don't understand why this shooting of the 13 year old is all over the media. I've seen a few interviews with the families lawyer and it is embarrassing to watch her push her narrative and reeks of profiteering.

The kid had a gun, he and his friend had fired 8 shots at cars in the middle of the night. Cops responded. The kid ran while holding a gun to a fence, threw the gun and quickly turned around in less than a second. The cop had to protect himself. The shooting was justified and this cops name should not be dragged through the mud.

Yes its tragic that a kid was killed. It was a shame that he got involved with gangs and guns and was out in the middle of the night instead at home getting ready for school the next day. He was only 13?! This specific incident is not a cop problem, it is a community problem. They need resources they need better education, better jobs, better community programs and they need more healthy interactions with police. That should be the lesson from this incident, not bashing a good cop who was risking his life to protect himself and his community.

The Floyd situation opened many eyes and started a movement. Keep that movement pure and don't pollute it by trying you conflate a good cop and justified shooting into another racist, cop bashing story. It's not right.

It mean's "if" -

So he tossed the gun and put his arms up...not sure why he was shot.

13-year old Adam Toledo ran down the alley, being chased by a
police officer. The officer yelled for Toledo to stop, to show his
hands. The body cam showed something in his hand - a video
from a surveillance camera from a building on the other side of the
fence that faced Toledo showed him tossing what was in his hand
behind the fence right before he turned to face the officer. It was
a gun.

In a split second the officer had to make a call, being in fear for his
own life, and in that second he shot Toledo in the chest, killing him.

THOUGHTS:

1. According to the law, lethal force can be used if one is in genuine
fear for their life. The DOJ just declared they would not prosecute the
officer sho shot and killed an unarmed, white, female vet - Ashli Babbett,
in the Capitol because he feared for his life when he shot her. If the law
is applied equally here, this officer will not face punishment / charges.

2. The media has used slow-motion video and still images like the one above
to condemn the officer for shooting Toledo, pointing out the still photography
shows Toledo did not have the gun in his hand at the second he was shot.
LIDE DOES NOT HAPPEN IN SLOW MOTION, AND TIME DID NOT STOP TO
ALLOW THE OFFICER TO ASSESS THE SITUATION.

3. Why isn't anyone asking why this 13yo was out at night running around carrying a handgun?
Why isn't anyone asking where his parents were, why he wasn't home, how / where did he get a gun?
