I didn't really start going to "real" shows until about 1975. I'm the youngest sibling, my sisters are prolly right in your age group. I owe my musical tastes to them in many aspects.

So I was out mowing and all of a sudden thought
"hey I forgot the O'Jays, the Four Tops, Sly and the Family Stone and
The 5th Dimension." It's good to know my old brain is still working ...now if I could just remember important stuff.

One stands out was a concert with J Giles and Peter Frampton around 75 Colt Park Hartford CT. One point leag Giles guitarist and Peter got in a duel. Peter got faster and faster Giles guy just threw his guitar in the air. No keeping up. Had a bag of true Panama red, toss and stick a bud to your windhield so sticky. That was a good one.

Nother was a Woodstock knockoff upper NY about 74. 16 bands. Doobies playing in a thunderstorm. Beach boys booed off 2 min. Aeroplane, New Riders Purple Sage,,,damn that was good.
