Do you know how many times I have been "shot" by a gun firing blanks? How about the number of times I "shot" special ops troops with blanks? They are not real guns because they cannot fire a round down the barrel.No guns are prop guns. They are real. Only thing NOT supposed to be in them is real bullets.

"He further explained that Hollywood prop masters will “only put the amount of blanks into the gun that are meant to be shot in the scene... They’re pretty strict, they’ll always yell out, ‘Gun is hot!’ before they hand it over to the actor.”

Absolutely correct, he can't lay it all at the feet of the person who handed him the gun. He has to always practice gun safety. Double check the ammo, put bullet proof plexi in front of camera operator, don't aim directly at the person behind the camera & make sure everyone else is out of line of fire. Clearly, multiple safety protocols were skipped.There was a movie guy on Tucker's show tonight. He said (among other things) that everyone is told to treat every weapon as though it were loaded at all times. Never point a gun at anyone. Don't put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to fire.
As any gun club member knows, Baldwin was guilty of gross negligence. Maybe someone else was in charge of the gun, but Baldwin was culpable. And this being the U.S. of A., he will be sued, big time. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
And if Baldwin was a Trump supporter you would be agreeing with the poster or sitting silently and not defending Baldwin…Yeah so? How does a guy with a temper jump to murder on a movie set?! You have zero evidence to make these claims. So why make them?

Halyna Hutchins family needs to sue Baldwin, the gun armor, director & the movie company for millions.
This is likely murder & should be investigated as such. Possibly a Trump supporter loading live round to get back at Baldwin for his protesting against & many SNL portrayals of Trump. Or Hutchins may have been having sex with one of them & they were afraid of being exposed.

He has no respect for firearms. This is a wake up call for Hollywood to rethink its gun policy. Instead of making billions glorifying gun violence and wagging their finger at law-abiding gun owners, learn how to respect and use a firearm. As I said in an earlier post, movies and the arts community as a whole that intends to use any type of firearm needs to be subject to firearms safety and certification. The NRA can help.The shooting was scripted. so it would depend on the camera angle and the staging for the scene.
