Actor Alec Baldwin fired prop gun on set of ‘Rust’ that killed cinematographer

Those lessons were learned long ago. Baldwin, being an arrogant ass, chose to ignore all of those lessons and rules.
Doubtful. I doubt every, or even any, actor peers into the chambers of a prop revolver to make sure the round is a blank instead of a live round. They are probably all quite used to relying on the crew.

You can bet they'll start now. But actually, most of them already do that. It's just violent, arrogant assholes like Alec Baldwin who don't worry whether their inattentiveness might get someone killed.

Actors are instructed every time a weapon is handed to them to NOT POINT IT AT ANYONE.

Look. This is stupid. Baldwin is being attacked because RWNJs hate him for mocking Trump.

Actors are not hunters. They are not at a range. They are ACTING.

Guns on a set are the responsibility of the armorer and the director ( less so).

The rules that normally govern gun use are different on a movie set. At times guns WILL be pointed at individuals and that is the nature of that work. It is the job of the armorer and safety people to makes sure that happens safely. To make sure that there are no live rounds on the set. Anywhere.

That clearly did not happen here. Corners were cut. Speed was apparently what was cared about over safety.

If Baldwin had any responsibility for THAT… then he is responsible.

If not… then not

He's being attacked because he is an anti gun asshole who tweets about cops defending themselves who then breaks every safety rule in the fucking book and kills a talented woman you feckless clod!

Of course this is true. But these are the same people who would stomp on McCain's corpse, if the orange lard and master asked them to do so. So this isn't anywhere near a new low for them.

Look. The only reason you aren't attacking him is he a left-wing nutjob; you see him as a kindred spirit, and thus, the need to defend him at all costs.
But, let's' look at the SAG rules....

The SAG disagrees (emphasis theirs)

You're right - they are more stringent.
And they include:

Which in no way absolves Baldwin of his direct responsibility for killing someone, as HE, in his improper and unsafe handling of a firearm, cut corners. Had he, personally, followed all the SAG rules, the woman he killed would be alive today,

I applaud you and your willingness to put your ignorance on display.
Now, stop trying to blow Baldwin and admit - at least to yourself - that everything you said, above is absolute nonsense.

Stupid fuck. Your own link acknowledges that sometimes actors are required to point weapons at people.

Jesus.

Just fuck off

Yes. On camera.
Was Baldwin on camera? Were they actually filming?
No?

It was a rehearsal. No difference

Ya know who actually IS responsible?

A. The 24 year old armorer who was working on just her second film. The same armorer responsible for at least 3 other gun incidences on this set. The same armorer who should have never allowed ANY live rounds on that set.

B. The Assistant Director who handed the gun to Baldwin and yelled "Cold gun" without actually checking

B. The producers who hired the unqualified armorer and pressured the crew to cut corner and save money.

Hey great news for your Baldwin obsession. He was an executive producer so that may include him.

Alec Baldwin thought the armorer was really, really, cute.

Wrong, it said it sometimes happens, and it is WRONG TO DO SO ALWAYS!

It was a rehearsal. No difference
Of course there is - that's why they call is rehearsal
Do you really believe your nonsense?
Ya know who actually IS responsible?
Of course I do.
In descending order of culpability:
1: Baldwin, the shooter
2, 3, 4... everyone else involved with the firearm
How do -you- not know this?
