Please expand on that? I lived in CA until six years ago and I had 3 SKS. There were no restrictions on SKS at that time beyond not having a "removable magazine" with a capacity over 10 rounds. I put 30 round magazines on mine and they weren't illegal because they were integrated to the gun.
