Vs the 2020 protests that were spread across hundreds of cities, largely peaceful but violent in places, and with no coordinated goal of overturning government. After all, even a crowd of just 10,000 at the Capitol on January 6th produced significant violence, so it should come as no surprise that a movement of 15 to 26 million people saw some violence too. It is also worth noting that a portion of the violence and damage in 2020 came from opportunists using the protests as cover to cause trouble, not from the protesters themselves.
