About Those J6 “People”

Trump didn’t control the FBI obviously. Leftwing deep state hacks occupied very high positions. It’s tough to getting all the rot.
So the leftwing deep state somehow secretly controls what the FBI is doing and doesn't leave a trace. And they conducted FBI informats to help escalate the situation? For what end goals? We already know Trump was trying to delay the transfer of power at the very least, and when Pence was not going along with his plans (becuase Pence is not a traitor to Democracy), he sat and waited before telling his supporters to top the violence.

But the left wing FBI did this in the hopes of what? Stopping the transfer of power so that Trump would remain president for longer and would have more time for his BS legal attempts to try and get the election overturned?

Ineffectual whataboutism #537.
It’s not whataboutism, because the Jan 6th rioters didn’t do near the damage and harm caused by the 2020 Demafacist brownshirts

There is no comparison.

Yall set a record for the most damage ever

Killed 25 people At least 25 Americans were killed during protests and political unrest in 2020

Assaulted over 60k!! Police officers

J6 wasn't an "insurrection". It didn't even meet the FBI's legal definition of one.
But all the major mainstream news networks used the same word that night in their "reporting" of the incident.
Can you say "prearranged conspiracy"?
Sure. I knew you could.
Up is down to these people:
"Unarmed protesters were trying to take over the United States government in a coup, an insurrection."
"Nightly protests that resulted in 25 deaths and burned government buildings and vehicles were peaceful and normal"
"Trump is a dictator, but Democrats who want to stack the Supreme Court and eliminate the EC love the Constitution"
"Biden was sharp as a tack, but Trump needs the 25 Amendment".
"Iraq won the war".
"Even though the stock market sets daily records, the economy is in the tank".
"Ivy League educated billionaire businessman is unqualifed, but empty suit 0bama was supremely qualified".

It shows how warped their view is of everything. It's the Bizarro World. Everything is 180 degrees out of whack.

A very, very small contingent. Of course the liberal hive mind exaggerates greatly.

No they don't. You just pulled that out of your refrigerator.

Case Set 1 — Three men convicted of violent felonies

All three were convicted of violent offenses, including assaulting officers and robbery.

Case Set 2 — Five men convicted of violent felonies

All five were convicted of assaulting officers with dangerous weapons and other violent charges.

Case Set 3 — Two men convicted of violent felonies

Two defendants were convicted of multiple violent felonies (assaulting officers, civil disorder).

Total violent‑crime convictions in the retrieved cases

Adding the individuals from the three DOJ cases:

  • 3 (Case Set 1)
  • 5 (Case Set 2)
  • 2 (Case Set 3)

➡️ Total in these DOJ cases: 10 individuals convicted of violent crimes

These include:

  • Assaulting law enforcement
  • Assault with a dangerous weapon
  • Inflicting bodily injury
  • Engaging in physical violence on Capitol grounds
  • Robbery (stealing police equipment)
  • Civil disorder involving violence

Important clarification

These 10 violent offenders come from the specific DOJ cases returned in the search, not the full national total of all January 6 prosecutions.

What about pardoning them?

More than 14,000 arrests were made during nationwide BLM protests in summer 2020, with over 300 individuals facing federal charges for crimes like arson and assault. While most misdemeanor cases (curfew violations) were dismissed, a 2021 review found over 120 people pleaded guilty or were convicted of federal crimes, with 70+ receiving prison sentences averaging 27 months.

1. How many people were arrested during the 2020 protests?

Two major national tallies appear in the retrieved sources:

• “More than 10,000” arrests nationwide

Associated Press tally.

• Roughly 14,000 arrests

A later, broader count covering 49 cities by June 22, 2020.

Local data from major cities (MCCA report):

  • 16,241 arrests in 68 major cities between May 25 and July 31, 2020.(This includes all protest‑related arrests, not just BLM.)
Takeaway: National arrest totals for the 2020 protests fall between 10,000 and 16,000, depending on the dataset and timeframe.

2. How many went to prison?

The sources do not give a single national “prison” number, but they do give prosecution data from major cities — which lets us understand the scale:

From the Major Cities Chiefs Association (MCCA):

  • 16,241 arrests
  • 2,735 felony arrests (≈17%)
  • 53% of agencies reported that their District Attorney declined to prosecute most protest‑related cases
This means:

  • A large majority of arrests were not prosecuted.
  • Only a fraction of the 2,735 felony cases would have resulted in convictions.
  • Only a subset of those felony convictions would have resulted in actual prison sentences (as opposed to probation, fines, or time served).
