A week after Barrycare: Obama hits new low according to Gallup

and, if the tea parties don't get behind the republican candidate....

we're still stuck with him for seven more fucking years.

No, that is not the case, its actually just a lilttle over two years, there isn't much chance of Barry repeatting.

I wouldn't bet the house on that, Xeno.

Or underestimate Obama for that matter.
You should, and you over estimate Barry.

All he is good at is whipping up his true believers, he pissed on the moderates, the people that actually got him elected.

They won't buy into his bullshit again, and the polls show it.

but they'll buy into Palin's?

You don't understand the movement, it is about getting responsive government, not cutting its own throat.

You think it will sit back and allow Barry to win again this time by a split vote?

think again.

I hope they don't. would they and the religious right support a mormon? someone who was governor of massachusetts and was a "socialist"?

Oh, and since the two of you are here defending barry the assclown, you should do something productive, like checking your rosters and making sure you don't have any NA drafted players.

The 'religious right' is done, we aern't interested in what they have to say, nobody sane really does listen to them at this point.

They are toxic to national politics.

Me? defend the ossiah? no.

And while Obama is looking good now, his approval rating is still hovering around 50 percent and recently matched its lowest level in the Gallup daily tracking poll.

That makes him either politically savvy or in for a tough wake-up call. Either way, he’s defied the system and hopes to do it again.

“He’s demonstrated to the political system that low polls and tough problems do not rule out success in spite of the fact that people on both sides of the aisle had been predicting failure on things like health care,” said Bruce Buchanan, a government professor at the University of Texas in Austin. “So he’s feeling now that there’s nothing preventing his tackling other tough problems.”

Democrats believe the Obama of the past week is what Americans want. They particularly think it could convince skeptical independents that Democrats can govern and that Obama is steadfast leader they hoped for. They’re also confident moving into the debate on regulating Wall Street because they believe it unites them and divides Republicans.

Elvis is correct about Palin. If that is the face of GOP, it's over before it begins. OTOH, if she is just a spokesperson, vocalizing the issues? Useful.

I'm not saying that Obama is going to win but I'm giving him a much better shot than you are.

If the economy has noticeably improved and the sky doesn't fall because of HCR he's going to be real tough to beat.
