You should see the "racist" mural painted on the wall of my post office. It was done back during the Depression and depicts a Black mammy with a basket of laundry, and a barefoot Hispanic picking fruit.

It serves a valuable purpose for the folks that use it......Now it will either moved into a trailer or gone altogether just to kowtow to some snowflake.

There are POs in old rural train stations scattered across the Commonwealth serving small hamlets. There is one about 10 miles from me at Markham, Virginia.....It used to be a train station but was added on to over the years.

Not counting the rural carriers it has one employee.....In fact the Hamlet is a combination of blacks and moneyed farmers.

We are responsible for teaching accurate history. And you are responsible for continuing the same behavior. Last, none of what you said has anything to do with CRT.

One of the main reasons people came up with was that the primary responsibility could be seen to belong to white men, This gave rise to talk about why CRT and indeed racism and history of slavery and so on should not be taught which was that they believed it would make white boys/men feel bad about themselves - facing the truth they believed would make white males feel bad about themselves. Because of this they argued it should not be taught and that seems to be the way you have moved.

People who are not white have gone to school and learned things that did not make them feel good. Why are whites, specifically white men, so special that they cannot learn uncomfortable truths?

If hearing about something inhumane that was done by your people makes you feel uncomfortable that is good. It means you have a conscience. This stuff about feeling guilty for it however is a new thing which I think has just come up in the last ten years or so from the right. Why would I feel responsible for something I had no part in. It is imo an excuse to try to continue it. If people learn about it and it makes them feel not good then clearly they are not going to continue doing it and likely will try to make amends. The best way to continue doing it hence is to not let them hear about it.

I think you will find that is what is going on in many States. Having discovered that white men appear to have been the main perpetrator of inhumanity towards slaves, they believe that this may lead white boys/white men to not feel good about themselves. The response they demand is do not teach it. This is anti CRT. I thought you and most of the people on these threads were into this. It is apparently an ideology. I left a video on it.

It has everything to do with CRT. It has everything to do with the current "blame white people now" for the sins of the past. It has everything to do with saying the entire system is still racist. That's the crux of CRT and of course the solution is socialism. CRT is nothing more than the class struggle theory translated to race.
