Four shootings -- two of them double homicides -- and a stabbing left 7 people dead Saturday, authorities said.

In what appeared to be the last homicide of the day, a 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed about 11:50 p.m. in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

The stabbing happened during a domestic argument in the 2500 block of East 73rd Street, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

The man, identified by the Cook County medical examiner's office as Willie Wilson of the 2500 block of East 73rd Street, was found unresponsive on the scene. He was pronounced dead there at 11:55 p.m. with a stab wound to the chest.

Less than two hours earlier, about 10:05 p.m., a 38-year-old man was killed in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, making him the sixth person shot dead Saturday, police said.

The man, identified as Norman Stokes, of the 6700 block of S. Aberdeen Street, died on the scene, in a vacant building in the 7000 block of South Carpenter Street, authorities said.

Earlier, in the second double homicide of the day, a 16-year-old boy and a 32-year-old man were gunned down about 5 p.m. in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side, police said.

Officers responded to a call of a person shot in the 4200 block of West Congress Parkway and found the two lying dead outside on the ground, according to the police.

The Cook County medical examiner identified the two as Dimitri Buford, 32, of the 1400 block of North Sedgwick Street in Chicago, and Antonio Fenner, 16, of the 4400 block of of West 15th Street in Chicago.

No one has been arrested.

It's curious why the media avoids talking about Chicago, where strict gun laws, illegal gang members and minority violence is out of control. It's a prime example of why liberal policies don't work, therefore, the media won't take a hard look at what happens there on a daily basis.

I think they are just demonstrating (quite well) how gun control does not make a city safe. Chicago has about the toughest gun control and about the highest gun-crime rate of all the big US cities.

Benghazi is a huge scandal because some damn good questions remain unanswered and the left has done nothing but scurry around hoping someone will make it go away. Hillary tried with her idiotic statement, but that only adds to the suspicion. They need to answer for things, not tell us it doesn't matter. It does matter and they will learn that eventually.
