Equal opportunity or equal outcome. the left tries for the latter but will never admit it.

Equity is another term for equality of outcome or forced equality. Instead of hiring the best, the focus switches to filling back-office job openings by color, chromosomes, and a host of new categories established by the academic ideology of intersectionality which is part of progressive theories making up Critical Race Theory. Intersectionality divides groups into two columns: those that are oppressors and privileged and those that are oppressed victims.

Spot on.....

So....would you rather fly in an airplane piloted by a guy not up to par but for equal rights is chosen over the "non diversity" pilot that qualifies?

Spot on. Equal outcome is the basis of socialism, while American capitalism is responsible for equal opportunity. Everyone has the same chance to succeed or fail on their own will under capitalism, while everyone fails equally under socialism.

As this goes on people who work with quality will get despondent and then work like the equity. We will be a much poorer clusterph*k nation. We already are in that direction.

There should be some equality.

Roof over your head.

Food in your belly.

Medical care if you need it.

The roof need not be a castle.

The food need not be steak.

The medical care can be just good enough to get by.

Most areas won't allow for simply a "roof over your head". In fact they tear down fine and discourage anything that doesn't meet with their approval. Can't put taxes on a pallet shack. If they can't tax it then it isn't considered viable. Instead of pushing for mass taxation work on having areas where people can actually have a roof over their head if they want one that can be built from scraps.

Food is available generally but may not be what someone actually wants to eat. Beans will sustain you whether you like them or not is a different story but truth is you won't need as much medical if you are eating beans instead of corporate junk food. See you can solve these issues without taxing the crap outta everyone and giving raiders other peoples money which they actually waste and give to one another instead of those in need.

What you're describing is not equality, but equity.

Question for you and others who believe this: Do you think that the motivation to invent and produce new innovations is reduced if all your needs are met? I assume you believe the gov't will provide this, but where will their revenue come from if nobody is working? Who's going to build houses and grow food and provide medical care? Why bother?
