A simple economic lesson... raise capital gains to 43% will do what?

As I thought. You completely ignore all the benefits and protections granted the ultra wealthy and big corporations by our corrupt system, but demand the poor accept cold hard capitalism. Socialism for the rich and capitalism for poor…right?

Typical.
Wrong, just fking wrong. wrong, wrong, wrong. Did I say wrong? I did. WRONG

Here's a fking fool who thinks everyone is equal.

You want to keep the status quo, I'm guessing because you are a high level exec that makes millions a year. So I understand why you dont want to improve things for the rest of the 98% of us.
what do you want to happen? let's hear your proposal? you know, the make everyone equal line.

ever hear of risk? Do you know what the word means to business? Stocks? life? you sound like a mooch. you want what I have without the effort and risk. mooch

Whether I can do a ceo job or not doesnt prove your assertion. Besides, even if "most of us" cant do a ceo's job, that does not in and of itself justify the outlandish pay ceo's in America (notice this is an AMERICAN phenomena).
Actually, it does prove the assertion. Most of those complaining about CEO's pay have no idea what's required to do the job and could not do it.

just like most can't dunk a basketball or throw a baseball 100 miles an hour.

They never respond to the pro athletes' salaries because that ruins their narrative. It kind of makes you wonder if it is a race-based thing. I am not sure. I am fine with athletes making WAY more than CEOs on average. If the market bears paying them that much, good for them.

And those who can are paid quite a lot because people like to watch them do it. It also bolsters my point, because like those who complain about sports stars getting paid a lot could not do what they do, those who complain about CEO's couldn't do their job either. I'm not sure where you think you're going with this, but you keep proving my point and making it obvious I wasn't making anything up, which was your original assertion.

Why shouldn't athletes get paid what the market will bear? If people are willing to pay them huge salaries to play a game, go for it. Likewise with CEO's. I have no problem with them making a lot of money if their companies are doing well, goods and services are moving, and people are getting paid to do a job. If enough people boycotted every large company that paid their CEO huge salaries, they would come down, just like major sports salaries are going to start coming down as interest in sports fades due to their politicization.

I guess you havent noticed me not responding to you over the past few days. It's because you're too stupid. Literally everything you say is stupid whether that be making illogical statements, falling into one of multiple illogical fallacies, outright lying, and even calling me names that arent even appropriate. You're not worth the effort. I'm just letting you know why I havent been responding to you and why I wont be responding to you in the future.

So out of all these other dumbasses I actually do respond to, that puts you at the absolute bottom of the list.....possibly the dumbest person on here. Congrats.

are you saying that a person who throws a baseball 50 miles an hour should make the same money as a player throwing 100 miles an hour?

why yes. The point was these demofks never talk about the ball players making millions annually. Their hard on is only for CEO's . the space between their ears is out for rent.

you think that bothers me? dude, my fking left little toe has more smarts than you. A fact you'll never change. I know you avoid me, I am far more intelligent than your feeble little mind could ever grasp. so thanks for clarifying you don't have any fking answers.

Ultimately, they're saying that the government should decide how much baseball players are paid.

Most people could not be an immunologist, an astronomer, or an astronaut either. But they dont get paid $20 million a year and dont get 9 figure exit packages for running a company into the ground either. So no, it doesnt prove your assertion that just because most people cant do a specific job, the person doing that job should get paid $20 million a year.

This is true. They also never talk about the Hollywood elite that make untold millions for preaching things to everyone that they don't live themselves.

so you can't provide the link? If it happened, there should be one. Don't skirt responsibility here.

We've done this many times. Obviously you being told 5 or 500 times will make no difference.

pknopp what causes deficits if it isn't out of control spending? one doesn't get into debt until one purchases something.

You are supporting people who cut taxes and spend and spend and spend and then wonder why things are the way they are.

That's not even foolish, that's just goofy!
