No kidding! If I recall correctly, that thing on it's head has a light on the end that allows it to see in the depths where it's usually found. Bioluminescence of some sort.

Even worse..."The anglerfish uses a shiny lure to bring prey within range of its sharp teeth. But it also has a weirdly clingy side - after finding a female, the male black devil angler latches on and never lets [go?]..."
