A non-polluting urban delivery vehicle at a very good price

One of these....

How long in between charges?
Max range of 180 miles. At present,. It is an urban delivery vehicle. And like all EV's, it will have a lot more range before 2025.
It sucks right now like all other EVs then. They will get this right one day though.
The Plaid S has a range of 390 miles, and out performs any other production vehicle on the planet. 180 miles is a perfectly adequate range for an urban delivery vehicle. EV's will come in as many flavors as the current ICE's. And last far longer and be far less costly to operate.

UPS drivers travel around 600 miles a day. As I said, it isnt feasible.
Im not against EVs. I hope to have one some day. Im just HONEST about them. Try it sometime.

BYD has developed a very good urban delivery vehicle at an excellent price;

Where does the electricity come from?

Solar and wind

Ah yes solar and wind, just like it was in Texas? How do you charge it in California when there are rolling black outs? You are pretty stupid to think that an EV car is environmentally friendly.

Study: Electric Vehicles Pollute More Than Gas-powered Cars - The New American
Electric vehicles tend to produce more pollutants from tire and brake wear, due in large part to their batteries, as well as the other parts needed to propel them, making them heavier.

These pollutants are emitted when electric vehicle tires and brakes deteriorate as they accelerate or slow down while driving. Timmers and Achten’s research suggests exhaust from traditional vehicles is only about one-third of the total emissions.

When if it is dark out and really cold, and raining? Do you think that 390 miles will work, or will all the drain from heaters, wipers and lights make the trip a lot shorter?

Far too expensive. Will be replaced by solar and wind by 2030.

zero chance of that and its not even debatable. Even Biden's EIA concurs..... :funnyface: .....and its not even close. Projections on solar/wind for % electricity generation out to 2040 still only in the low-teens! The building of transmission lines ( never presented in "costs" analysis by the climate crusaders ) waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive.

:bye1: Building wind farms is easy. Transmission lines are tough :bye1:
