A Man Gets Removed From A Flight For Bringing His Needed Medical Device On The Plane.

Maybe the pilot was afraid of one of the airline stewardess may accidently damage his equipment.

Sounds like a very unfortunate incident. It's not unusual for medical devices to be banned from airlines. Those requiring supplemental oxygen can't bring their oxygen bottles on board. They are required to have a battery powered oxygen concentrator. The dialysis machine had a label showing it was not allowed. The dialysis machine manufacturer should have upgraded the label on the machine if it was to be allowed. The airline recognized their mistake, and I'm sure that they, as well as the other airlines will take steps to prevent the same problem in the future. Mistakes happen. It's good that this one was dealt with, before others had to go through what that man had to go through.

If the story is true, how can we trust the pilots and crew of United Airlines to drive the freaking plane when they can recognize a legitimate medical device? What do they teach these flight attendants besides how to give out a bag of peanuts?
