7 States Sue Biden Over Loan Forgiveness Plan

We have already covered this. Society benefits from doctors, engineers, teachers, etc also.
So? Why should I pay for their education? Show me where Biden has the authority to spend $400 BILLION +.

You already agreed that an investment into educating doctors, engineers, teachers is a good thing. Some you want to pay for and others you do not.

Amazon is free to invest all the money they want into their headquarters.
Show us the part of the Constitution that says taxpayers need to pay for the education of Doctors etc......

So you’re against forgiving loans because you think it MIGHT raise your taxes?

With a 30 trillion dollar debt, an additional 40 billion isn’t even a bump in the road and you know it.

This is political to you as well. It’s not political for tens of millions of middle class folks. It’s a “food on the table” issue
Great logic. We have so much debt no amount we spend will make a difference, so SPEND BABY! SPEND!

Moron.

The Constitution doesn't support much of our spending. How do you think we got to 30 trillion in debt and growing? Had we only adhered to Madison's words, we would have no debt.
BINGO!

The Constitution gives the Fed Govt power to do 17 things. That's it. Everything else is left to the states, or the people.

If Amazon wants a new headquarters they should pony up every penny for it.
Local decision, Simp. As others stated earlier, local official do a cost benefit analysis on these things.

There is no benefit for paying the loans of some hipster dufus who got a degree in gender studies and can't find a job.

Stupid enough? Really? We should only pick those who have family wealth to be doctors? Is that the society you seek?
Ever heard of working your way thru college, Simp? Many do it.

But then, work is something you Dimwingers are allergic to.

We have already covered this. Society benefits from doctors, engineers, teachers, etc also.

In many states, you don't need a college degree to become a teacher.

But that's neither here nor there.

These people took loans and agreed to pay them back. Why shouldn't they be required to stand by their word, and why should I have to pay those loans back for them?

Why would we be without food? There was no demand for food? It dried up?
The demand for college is manufactured by the everyone has to go to college mindset and the guaranteed student loan programs. Before all this only the best students went to college and the course work was rigorous and demanding. But when it was realized that universities could get a bunch of people with guaranteed loans they started adding the dumbed down shit and jacking up tuition prices
And never finish and end up with big debt. Wonderful solution
Bullshit.

If you don't finish it's because of your own personal failings

So you’re against forgiving loans because you think it MIGHT raise your taxes?

I'm against forgiving those loans because we're talking about people who took out loans and agreed to pay them back.

What's wrong with asking someone to stand by their word?

The wrongs always seem to go against the middle class don't they.

And the politicians know that because that's where the real money is in this country.

There will never be a middle class tax cut because it's the middle class that provides the most income tax revenue.

Your best bet is to not play the game anymore.

If at the age of 18 you simply invested the same amount a college degree would cost you you'd be a millionaire a few times over by age 65.

Show us the part of the Constitution that says taxpayers need to pay for the education of Doctors etc......

It's in the same chapter where we have to bail out farmers, auto makers, bankers........

If we can bail out those who made poor business decisions we can bail out those who made poor education decisions.

Nor true overall. We are not speaking home schoolers.

Banks made loans that went bad...............................GM made decisions that went bad.................
