It matters none whether you liked it or not.

Principles mean you do the right thing, period.

Has it ever occurred to you that sometimes there is more than 1 “right“ thing? You are acting as if the out of control spending by Congress under Trump was the only thing that mattered. They essentially said hey, sign this big spending bill or you won’t get x,y,z which are all the “right” thing to do. At some point, not getting all the x,y,z’s add up to a much bigger problem than the spending.

It's the only thing that mattered when speaking about debt.

Great, you support debt so stop your complaining about it.

And?

That average includes places like Harvard and Yale. If you get in to those schools then you ain't "average"

It would be a lot more intellectually honest if you used the average costs of state and community colleges.
Good point! Ok, let me go look it up!

“When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”

Not matter who said it, it is right on the money, no pun intended.

Somebody has to be the pragmatic adult(Republican) in the toy store and so “no” to the impractical child (Democrat).

This is why we call you a "Dumb Butthead American".

Ben Franklin said it and it can certainly be applied to the Republican Party, The wealthy found out under Reagan they could vote themselves money, and 40 years and 3 tax cuts later, the Republic is on the verge of collapse.

I didn't like that either, the government waste to much money. But those people chose to go to college and approved the money they borrowed. So they need to pay it back.

Most Americans are in debt of some kind. If you don't have a mortgage, you have a car loan. If you don't have a car loan, you have credit card loans. All of us borrowers have to repay the money we borrowed, except students? Where is the equity in that?

Farmer’s provide a life-sustaining service to our nation. We could all live without the sustenance provided by our local barista with a useless degree, which they willfully incurred debt to obtain.

Where would we be without Doctors, engineers, teachers? etc.

still a lot! It is way outpacing our average income....

You think “people” in the quote was referring to rich people voting themselves money? Boy, that is stupid. There aren’t enough rich people to vote themselves money. The quote was referring to masses who recognize they can vote someone into power that will give them “free” stuff. Guess which party that is. You are too stupid to even comprehend the quote.
