1. As to whether they agree with Biden's plan, that's up for debate and as I said, probably depends on the poll. This one from TheHill suggests 48% support, 43% oppose, and 9% probably don't know what college and loans are.

2. Even among those who oppose Biden's plan, that doesn't mean they want states to sue. I'm sure some do, but not all.

It depends.

Someone who's levels of income relative to debt are balanced? Probably not. But someone who's in danger of bankruptcy because they paid $200,000 for an MBA and got slapped with interest and penalties? There ought to be a limit. They shouldn't be allowed to just walk away from debt but it shouldn't make them debt serfs for life, either.

There's a lot that's wrong with higher ed, education, and the financing that supports it, but I don't see how punishing someone financially helps me or you. If nothing else, let student loan deadbeats write it off in bankruptcy, which they can't do now.
