Oh I see , burning money on Iraq was jsut fine while your team was crashing the entire worlds economy with its irresponsible behavior like shipping pallets and pallets of money into the country that just went poof.

No, there was a lot of mismanagement in Iraq. No one is really disputing that.

But 50 billion in Iraq is a drop in the bucket compared to the 873 billion for a stimulus that didn't stop the growth of unemployment or another 447 billion that will be more payoffs to the Democratic base.

That was before the Community Organizer ran up 4 trillion in new debt.

True dat.

Fron a link in the OP's cired source...
Byrd said Bush's request likely is only a down payment on a lengthy occupation that threatens to push the U.S. budget deficit above $500 billion in the 2004 fiscal year.

What' is the deficit now, oh unenlightened OP?

Congressional Budget Office - Home Page
CBO projects a $1.3 trillion deficit for 2011, the third-largest shortfall in the past 65 years

That's more than double what it was when the funding you are upset about was being dealt with.

Putz.

why do you deny the CBO and the majority of economists who say the stimulus worked?>

Why do you pretend the reason we need stimulus is not because your team BLINDLY backed anything and everthing Bush did for 8 long years.

What was the Dow at when Obama took office?

If it worked, why do we need another one?

Because, honestly, I'm not seeing it. I'm seeing unemployment is as high as it was when this joker took office. 26 straight months of unemployment above 9%.

These are the same economists who didn't see the 2008 Recession coming. The same ones who said that if the Stimulus passed, unemployment would be kept below 8%.

Why do you pretend the reason we need stimulus is not because your team BLINDLY backed anything and everthing Bush did for 8 long years.

Well, mostly, sorry, I don't see what Bush specifically did to cause this. Both parties stood by stupidly and watched the real estate market inflate beyond any reason. Barney Frank was insisting Fannie Mae was stable when it wasn't. Chris Dodd was in bed with the bankers. The federal government threatened to sue anyone who didn't give out loans to people who weren't worthy. It was like a big gravy train was leaving the station, and everyone had to get on it.

Sorry, man, the Dow doesn't mean that much to the rest of us.

By any standard, Obama's presidency has been a failure. Some are even predicting we are going to see another Dow crash next year.

You guys cheered while Bush crashed the entire world economy.

In case you havent noticed it was about to be the Great Depression II when Bush left office.

Do you remember how hard that one was to recover from?

The CBO and the majority of economists are better judges of the economy than some partisan hack internet poster like you.

Lie all you watn it doesnt change the facts.

You guys threw billions of our hard earned tax dollars down a hole in Iraq without blinking.

Now when the American peopel need some of their money back to fix our own country you cads get all high horse and pretend America is not worth the money

So, who held Congress when job losses began?

Or are you complaining about Iraq, which the Dem Congress funded?

I am really  here!

We haven't recovered from the 2008 recession yet. Your boy has been flogging away at it for 3 years and has made no progress.

We spend hundreds of billions on road repairs, building repairs. I can't go anywhere without running into road construction.

We spent 700 billion on Tarp, 873 billion on the Stimulus- in just three years. That's far more than we spent in Iraq in a decade.

How about this, if you really want to fix the country, give the job to non-union workers who will put in the lowest bid, with strict stuff in the contract that they pay penalties if it isn't finished on time.

BUt you guys want to pay six union thugs to stand around and watch one union thug work. And you consider it money well spent.

CHART OF THE DAY: It's Official: Obama Is Creaming Bush When It Comes To Jobs

because you guys fucked things up REAL bad and then Fought EVERTHING that could help since you took the house

There are only so many jobs you can lose in a short recession.....a recession that ended during the Summer of 09.

Problem is Obama policies are never gonna get any of the lost jobs back. You should be seeing a recovery and job gains. Instead we're just not losing as many jobs as we were during the recession. Zero job growth last month. ZERO.

The only thing the House has done is cut the faucet down to a steady flow of spending instead of an out of control gusher.

Obama is the one doing the damage. He spent trillions where he shouldn't have, he's pressuring companies to allow unions to take them over, and he's preventing others from moving to more competitive job markets....forcing them to leave the country....practically encouraging them to outsource. He admitted that shovel-ready projects was just a campaign slogan as well as the Summer of Recovery was just rhetoric.

All of his economic advisers have jumped ship and gone back to their colleges and universities so they can fill our kids heads with more useless garbage.

You bought all of his bull shit and you only make yourself look ridiculous by repeating it.

No progress?

do you ever get tired of lying?

Yeah, no progress at all.

Sorry. 26 straight months of 9.1% unemployment. (The real rate is probably 16%)

Zero Job Growth.

Zero GDP Growth.

Record Deficits

Record Trade imbalances.

$4.00 a gallon gasoline. Hey, remember when the "victory" in Libya was supposed to bring down gas prices?

You guys elected a man who was completely unqualified for the job because he talked pretty and you could all feel good about yourselves for voting for a black guy, and he has fumbled and stumbled for three years.
