5 big problems with Texas' bid to overturn Biden's win at the Supreme Court

It's fantastic that other states in the union are challenging the corruption in these Dem blue states that's a whopper of a SCOTUS case right there. Something the SCOTUS is likely to want to get in the middle of. Dems are shitting their pants.

No way the Supreme Court wants to sully its reputation with silly Trump legal claims

18 state's AG's have joined the suit. Fly over country just kneed Dems in the groin.
Fly over country just placed partisan politics over the country.

Look who's talking you people voted for Joe Biden.

82 million Americans did

I'll add one of my own to Pete Williams' analysis. If successful, a Democrat AG could respond by cobbling together blue states in a lawsuit to discard a few states that Trump won starting with Texas and Florida. After all, they changed their election laws in response to the pandemic too. SCOTUS knows this, and that's a big reason they won't take the case.

To cite a glaring one, the lawsuit, which Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed Monday, calls on the court to delay the electoral vote in the four targeted states, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, to allow investigations of voting issues to continue. That would be unconstitutional, said Edward Foley of the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University. He points out that Article II, Section 4, says that Congress can choose the day the electors meet to vote but that it also says the day "shall be the same throughout the United States." This year, it's Dec. 14, five days from now.
The second hurdle is that Texas has no legal right to claim that officials elsewhere didn't follow the rules set by their own legislatures. The United States doesn't have a national election for president. It has a series of state elections, and one state has no legal standing to challenge how another state conducts its elections any more than Texas could challenge how Georgia elects its senators, legal experts said.
Officials from both parties in the states named in the lawsuit ripped Paxton's challenge as "a publicity stunt" loaded with "false and irresponsible" allegations.
The lawsuit asks the Supreme Court for an order invalidating something like 20 million votes, which Foley said is unthinkable.
The court filings also appear to have been prepared in haste. For example, the lawsuit says the four states that Texas wants to sue have a total of 72 electoral votes. The total is actually 62.
"This case is hopeless. Texas has no right to bring a lawsuit over election procedures in other states," said SCOTUSblog publisher Tom Goldstein, a Washington, D.C., lawyer who argues frequently before the court. "And in any event, the justices will think that this case, like the others, should be brought first in the lower courts and not just in front of them first."
While it's true that the Supreme Court is the place to go when one state wants to sue another, it has to get permission from the court first, and it has to show there's no other place to resolve the issues. The Texas lawsuit is a compilation of legal claims that have already been chewed over in lower courts.
Paxton, whom the Trump campaign named a co-chair of its Lawyers for Trump group in July, has had legal problems of his own. He was indicted in 2015 on still-pending securities fraud charges and was reported to have been accused of other wrongdoing by his top aides this year.

The court system itself is a big problem, to they that are in it, and god's image that wants it. God controls us, living in us. Court system is on the outside of us.

Yknow, Mr. Blues, I think the Deep State has a lot of money in their pockets from decades of extorting taxpayer money through schemes of Biden putting the takeaway squeeze on third world recipients who would rather have something than nothing, because when it comes to sharing the Democrats have decided taking is so much easier than negotiating. They cotton to the top winners who earned their wealth through technology, and the people who made them successful are not only taken advantage of, workers have come to be blindsided for the imaginative idea that power is worth betraying anyone who stNds in their way. It is part and parcel from the machiavellan techniques advanced by a brainy guy named Saul Alinsky who summarized the easy ways of communism to rid freedom that gets in the way of simple, absolute power to those willing to trick useful idiots into doing bad things to good people who have spent a lifetime of work to help the poor in society. Since in taking the extreme position of destroying capable people from getting in their way by benefitting all in society and earning trust the hard way. We see them killing and maiming cops, burning private property that puts up signs up for their political rivals so voters won't know who they are.

That garbage just doesn't work. And I do not support the violent turn Democrats have taken against the majority of Americans who were cheated by a conspiracy so large its "protectors" have done everything possible to let unfairness against those who love truth and justice.

I am seeing intelligent men and women realize at this time of letting extremists get away with killing and destroying police, shouting down the truth, and even tearing up speeches their opposition makes. Many of these bright folks have changed because of the evil use of black people to get something for nothing and killing cops to please the deep staters whose secrets are dire.

The extremist Dems are inviting a world of nuclear solutions, and the steps they are planning to terminate fairness for all is covered by secrecy used by criminals since Cain committed the worst crime one could do--kill the brother who did such good things for his family Cain secretly murdered then when the truth came out he was banned from his former home.

The Democrats are taking a similar path as Cain and their lies from the loser they picked to use and their acts of public killings and maimings are killing the good while they create more new lies to explain away the old ones. I despise these concerted acts of following Cain's solutions to get their takeover plans to somehow redeem and give them all power and wealth.

Washington DC has made it clear, if the people dare vote for someone other than their hand selected bought, owned, controlled party candidate the DC swamp will attack that person like a swarm of killer bees.

Yeah, Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi don't like competition and teach hate hard-working business owners so much they unjustly make excuses for their drugged out criminal lowlifes. And they pay white men to eat on Republican livers day and night here, there, and ¡oh, heck! everywhere!
